After refusing to go on the trip with Jackson, John Paul is left feeling down and like a failure to his son. Warren comes across a struggling John Paul and offers him some words of advice.
Wanting to be a better man, John Paul goes ahead with joining the camping trip. Carter encourages John Paul to take Jackson up on being his partner in a trust activity, but John Paul has his doubts.
When Jackson refuses to admit to John Paul that the attack was due to his sexuality, John Paul walks off and tells Carter that he’s leaving.
Meanwhile, Darren, Charlie and Mason spot Dave in a suit and presume that he’s trying to win back Cindy. When Cindy sees Dave dressed so smartly, she also presumes it’s for her. However, Dave confesses that he has just been to court.
Later, Dave turns up at Cindy’s door and tells her that if she ever wants to give things another go, he’ll be waiting.
Elsewhere, Lucas and Leah return to the youth centre with a dressed-up Dillon to scare Beau and get payback. This backfires and leaves Dillon with a bloody nose.
