Pick of the Plots: Wednesday 4th October

Bobby is shocked to hear from Anna that Freddie has had a confrontation with Graham. They go to look for him, fearing he might do something stupid since he is drunk and upset.

Meanwhile, during a family dinner at Kat and Phil’s place, Lily loses her temper with a crying Charli before storming off. Kat goes after Lily to comfort her and reflects on her experience with Zoe.

Carla receives confirmation from the clinic that there were traces of LSD in her hair sample. With the dates not adding up for Rufus, she freezes when Michael mentions that Stephen normally makes the coffee at the factory.

Carla drags Stephen into the office and tells him she knows he spiked her drinks with LSD and she’s going to prove it. Carla shares her suspicions about Stephen with DS Swain, but she’s frustrated when DS Swain asserts that it’s mere speculation and she needs proper evidence.

Having heard Stephen talking to Jenny about moving to Thailand, Sarah reminds him that he still owes Audrey the money from the house. Stephen assures her it’s just a holiday. As Stephen heads towards Rita’s flat he freezes when he hears ‘Sexy Boy’, the ringtone he heard by the canal. He turns to see Tim answering his phone and realises with horror that Tim must have followed him that night.

Meanwhile, when a parishioner called Vaughn tells Billy he should be ashamed of himself, Billy loses his temper and tells him he needn’t worry as his husband is dying, unaware that Paul has heard.

Elsewhere, desperate to avoid Mason, Liam makes out he’s sick and Maria calls the school. In the precinct, Mason shows off in front of his mates and makes some cracks at Dylan about his gay dad. Will Dylan see Mason’s true colours?

Also, Stu meets up with Lesley, a PI, and instructs her to dig some dirt on Dom.

Mandy overhears Samson on the phone to Cathy. She confronts him about what’s going on with Lydia and Craig.

Believing from Samson that Lydia and Craig may have been having an affair, Mandy is determined to find out the truth.

Meanwhile, Charity and Liam are on their date at the B&B when Chloe and Mack arrive and are seated on the table next to them. Charity’s facade breaks as she lashes out at Liam.
