On this Day 1981: Unemployed teenagers help the elderly

ATV Today reporter Doug Carnegie visited the Greyfriars Community Enterprise Scheme in Earlsdon, Coventry.
The scheme is run by Top Shop, part of the education authority of Coventry City Council with money from the Manpower Services Commission and is under threat of closure, but nobody will say why.
The report features shots of teenagers at work digging gardens and cutting hedges while there is an interview with an elderly resident about the help she has received. Doug also speaks with young people who do not know what is happening with the scheme.
