Head to a claustrophobic ‘Outpost’

Lightbulb Film Distribution is unleashing a claustrophobic horror-thriller, Outpost, next month.

Sales & Acquisitions Director, Peter Thompson:

“We are delighted to be bringing Outpost to audiences in the UK, Ireland, Australia & New Zealand. Joe Lo Truglio is a brilliant comedy actor, but this suspenseful, revenge thriller showcases his skills as a writer and director. Anchored by Beth Dover’s lead performance and captured by cinematographer Frank Barrera, Outpost reminds us that trauma is frightening but survival is thrilling”.

Outpost marks the feature-length directorial debut from Joe Lo Truglio and stars Beth Dover and Becky Ann Baker. FrightFest Halloween hosted the UK premiere last year. The movie will be released On Demand and Download in the UK & Ireland from September 11th and in Australia & New Zealand from the 13th.

Kate seeks to heal past trauma by moving to Idaho, and taking a job as a fire lookout volunteer. But alone in the mountains, unable to leave her outpost, she is overwhelmed by isolation and paranoia. To protect the tower, she must discover the truth, confront those responsible and face her own demons.

Outpost will be available to own or rent in the UK & Ireland from Sept 11 via AppleTV, Amazon, Sky Store, Virgin Media Store, Google Play and RakutenTV.

Director Joe Lo Truglio:

“Growing up in the 70s and 80s, my love for horror began very early and I can’t wait for a global audience to see this movie. Making Outpost was a 13 year-old’s dream. We’re thrilled to be working with Lightbulb, who share the same passion for the genre.”
