Ever turned on the TV and wished you could transport yourself to the sunnier climes and glamourous destinations than beam out of your screen?
According to research commissioned by Toshiba TV looking at the impact our TV viewing habits have on our holiday choices, 30 per cent of Brits reveal they’ve made holiday plans based on what they’ve watched on TV.
The research highlighted that over a third (34 per cent) of British people have been inspired to book a break based on their favourite TV show or film. Great Railway Journeys and Doc Marten have been named as the top inspirations in TV and Mamma Mia taking out the top spot in film.
The findings were released to celebrate the launch of Toshiba’s new QLED TV with Fire TV built-in.
