Pick of the Plots: Thursday 11th May

As the fallout of Elaine’s return continues, she quickly makes her presence felt at The Vic, charming some punters and putting others in their place. On the advice of Alfie, Linda approaches Sharon, but it’s clear her actions won’t be forgiven quickly.

Later, Linda and Elaine are left shaken by a disturbance in the night and a clue that Nish may have been behind it.

Meanwhile, Kim is in turmoil after court but refuses to talk to Howie about what’s happened. Denzel seeks help from Amy to get Kim to open up. Touched by Denzel’s love and concern, Kim agrees to seek medical help.

Elsewhere, Rocky panics after Sonia pulls out of the special performance he’s doing for Kathy’s party. He begs Jean to step in before making a frantic phone call to an old contact. At the last minute, Jean finally agrees to take to the stage, but she’s halted in her tracks by the arrival of Rocky’s mystery guest – Cheryl Baker from Bucks Fizz.

Alone, Ben breaks down with exhaustion, and when he turns up to the party, he’s horrified he’s forgotten to get Lexi. Struggling with Jay and Lola’s annoyance, Ben knocks back the booze and then picks a fight with Vinny.

Mack jumps at the chance when Chloe asks him to come and see his son.

Charity and Amy arrive at the hospital and plan a surprise visit to Chloe when they hear that Reuben is on the mend. Charity is in for a shock when she spots an unaware but emotional Mack with Reuben. She’s hit with the realisation that Mack is Reuben’s dad.

Meanwhile, Paddy attends a Man Club away from the village.

Elsewhere, after Caleb messes up the land purchase for the stud farm, he’s left fuming when Kim decides to end their partnership.

Also, Rhona is shocked and angry when she finds Tom operating on Monty at the vets.
