Martin mentions the tree that Kush and Shabnam planted in memory of their son, Zaair, which inspires Zack. He goes to see Whitney and tells her of his plans to do the same for Peach.

Whitney is initially reluctant to attend the ceremony that Zack has arranged but after a chat with Chelsea she changes her mind. Zack is pleased when she arrives, and after the ceremony, they stay back to grieve alone.

Full of emotion, Whitney kisses Zack, and he responds before pulling away. Whitney’s devastated but Zack can’t find the words to share the news of his HIV diagnosis.

Meanwhile, Lexi gets frustrated when Emma gate-crashes her Mother’s Day plans with Lola. Emma offers to leave but Lola asks her to hang around while she talks to Lexi.

However, back at home, Lola’s hopes of a family evening end abruptly as Emma bolts when an uncomfortable subject about her past is revisited.

Elsewhere, Ravi tries to flirt with Chelsea but she rebuffs his offer of a drink.

Damon menacingly reminds Nick that he still has a financial interest in the business and reveals he’s hired a new solicitor who Nick might have heard of.

Nick fumes at Adam for agreeing to act on behalf of Damon. Horrified, Sarah rows with Adam and announces that she’s off to the hotel he booked for their date night on her own.

As Damon orders a drink in the hotel bar, Sarah parks herself next to him, unaware of who he is. Damon chats her up as Sarah admits she’s had a row with her husband. Tipsy, Sarah invites Damon up to her room for a drink.

Meanwhile, Peter is stunned to find Stephen in charge at the factory and accuses the staff of stabbing Carla in the back.

Stephen is about to sign the American contract when Rufus appears and tells him to tear it up as he wants sole rights to Nippersnapper and if he doesn’t play ball, he’ll tell everyone how he’s been drugging Carla. Picking up the hole punch, a furious Stephen approaches Rufus.

Elsewhere, Jenny is delighted when Daisy asks if she’d give her away at the wedding.

Also, Evelyn is concerned about Cerberus who is off his food. When Summer suggests it’s time Paul moved in, will Billy and Paul agree to give their relationship another go?

Coronation Street, ITV1, tonight at 8pm

Manpreet advises Bob that Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder might be the cause of Cathy’s suffering. Eavesdropping, Cathy is stunned to hear it could affect her for decades.

Bob decides not to tell Cathy this hypothetical diagnosis until it can be confirmed. However, Cathy walks in explaining she’s heard everything. When Bob tells her they will get through it, broken-hearted Cathy isn’t ready to hear him.

Meanwhile, Mary is delighted Rhona still wants to meet the new woman in her life, Faye, despite the party having been cancelled.

Elsewhere, Alex’s ears prick up to overhear Manpreet’s phone call about the surgery’s drug delivery. He soon makes a furtive phone call himself.
