The Wheel and Weakest Link to return to BBC One

Saturday Night family favourites Michael McIntyre’s The Wheel and The Weakest Link will all be returning to BBC One and BBC iPlayer.

Michael McIntyre’s floor spinning game show The Wheel will return for a ten-episode run and is guaranteed, the Beeb note, ‘to be packed full of edge-of-the seat jeopardy, hilarious laughs, huge stars’. It of course also wouldn’t be complete without Michael’s colossal spinning Wheel. Can the contestants, guided by a brand new batch of celebrity experts, answer their way to a fortune?

Also returning to screens is The Weakest Link for twelve new editions. The show made famous by infamous Anne Robinson will be back with Romesh Ranganathan at the helm in TV’s favourite back-stabbing big-money game show.

Another all-star line-up of celebrity contestants will attempt to win up to £50,000 for charity by answering general knowledge questions before only two remain and play head-to-head to determine the winner.

BBC One will also be airing more Blankety Blank with Bradley Walsh.
