Emmerdale will feature stories on blackmail threats, cruel deception, and forbidden secret liaisons in upcoming episodes.
The ITV soap has teased a number of upcoming story twists, including that the recently-cuckolded Paddy Kirk (Dominic Brunt) will find comfort in the arms of his ex-wife Mandy Dingle (Lisa Riley).
In the aftermath of his wife Chas’s affair with Al, Paddy opens up to Mandy, but as they reminisce, old passions are rekindled and they soon find themselves in bed together.
Will this development buoy a struggling Paddy, or make him feel worse?
Meanwhile, Noah Dingle (Jack Downham) has been a rock for Amelia Spencer (Daisy Campbell) since she gave birth to his cousin Samson’s (Sam Hall) baby. Samson has wanted nothing to do with the baby.
Noah generously offers to set up a trust fund for baby Esther, but his good intentions backfire on him when Samson turns blackmailer.
Samson’s scheming won’t just impact Noah, it could also compromise his entire family.
The soap has also teased drama ahead for Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins) who could potentially revert to her old ways upon discovering that Mackenzie Boyd (Lawrence Robb) has been with another woman.
Thinking he and Charity were on a break, Mack found himself in bed with Chloe Harris (Jessie Elland). Instantly regretting his one-night stand, he hoped to put the affair behind him, but with the news that Chloe is carrying his baby, he has since been keeping a heavy secret from Charity who previously lost their baby.
Mack has since popped the question to Charity. Their relationship seems to be back on an even keel with a wedding to look forward to, however, the past has a habit of catching up with you in the Dales.
