Rakuten TV January highlights

Rakuten TV have confirmed their latest titles for January.
In Rakuten TV’s “STORE” selection, highlights from this month include Black Adam, DC Extended Universe’s latest movie starring Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, which will be available to buy from 16th January and to rent from 30th. Other picks include Bones and All, horror drama starring Timotheé Chalamet and the upcoming western The Old Way with Nicolas Cage, which will be an Early Home Release.
To wrap up this year and begin the new one with the finest selection of movies, romantic mystery film Decision To Leave by Park Chan-wook, Best Director winner at the 2022 Cannes Film Festival, is just what you need. Also. the biographical drama She Said, which follows reporters Jodi Kantor and Megan Twohey’s New York Times investigation that exposed Harvey Weinstein’s case. Starring Golden Globes Nominee for Best Supporting Actress Carey Mulligan and Zoe Kazan, the film will be an Early Home Release.
Additional titles on offer include The Woman King, action movie starring Viola Davis which grossed an impressive 94.2 million at the Box Office, and Universal Pictures’ Rom-Com Bros. As if this wasn’t enough, there is also the internationally-awarded horror Piggy as well as Nocebo, thriller with Eva Green, to be watched in one go.
Rakuten TV will also be releasing, free of charge, plenty of titles on their AVOD section: animation family movies Mission: Panda and Moonbound (action crime featuring Morgan Freeman and John Cusack) and the complete Mythica fantasy franchise including Mythica: The Necromancer, Quest for Heroes, The Dark Spore, The Dragon Slayer and The Iron Crown while waiting for the sixth chapter Mythica: Stormbound. All titles will be available exclusively and for free on Rakuten TV from 1st December!
For those who love Nicolas Cage – there are plenty to choose from, including Grand Isle, The Humanity Bureau, Vengeance and The Runner which are all available exclusively and free-of-charge already on the platform. Additionally, action crime Justice will be available from 1st December.
In SVOD, Rakuten has already released the second season of crime drama BMF and Brian De Palma’s Scarface starring Al Pacino and Jordan Peele’s psychological horror Get Out.
