A PLACE ONLY IN THE UK
A Place In The Sun presenter Jonnie Irwin has accused the bosses of the Channel 4 property show of ditching him from the series after he informed them he had terminal cancer. Irwin told a tabloid newspaper how Freeform Productions had ‘paid him off’ and ‘didn’t renew his contract’—leaving the presenter battling lung cancer, ‘feeling very low’. Jonnie revealed earlier this month the cancer had also spread to his brain.
In a statement the production company and Channel 4 said they had looked at all options to enable Jonnie to continue on the programme however they could not get insurance for him to shoot abroad.
A LITTLE LESS ‘PRETENDING TO BE GAY’ ON YOUR SCREENS
David Walliams, who should stick to writing books, is to step down from Britain’s Got Talent as a judge due to his foul thoughts and filthy mouth.
The 51-year-old, who should know better, called one contestant a “c**t” three times while he mocked another during breaks in filming. “I would like to apologise to the people I made disrespectful comments about during breaks in filming for Britain’s Got Talent in 2020. These were private conversations and – like most conversations with friends – were never intended to be shared. Nevertheless, I am sorry.”
What a c**t.

STILL BUSY LIVING
As the Boom Radio slogan goes for ‘baby boomers’ ‘we’re still busy living’ and it seems that’s exactly what performers Timothy West and his wife Prunella Scales are just doing.
The pair are living life to the fullest while Prunella copes living with dementia. Timmothy noted that recently they indulged in a lavish 90th birthday party and went Greek island-hopping. They also plan a big bash to mark their 60th wedding anniversary in 2023.
Prunella Scales is best known for her role as Sybil in the BBC sitcom Fawlty Towers while Timothy West was the star of the BAFTA-winning ATV drama Edward VII, to name just a few of their extensive television roles.
