OTD 1980: Charles, Prince of Wales

ATV Today spoke to King Charles III – when he was the Prince of Wales – about his venture into horse racing.

Prince Charles was taking part in the race riding Alibar and finished second in the 2.45pm National Hunt at Ludlow. ATV reporter Terry Biddlecombe spoke with the future King about the race and his intention to continue racing – ‘I’ve bloody well bought the horse haven’t I?’
