With seasoned presenters and ex-islanders touted as potential new hosts, BestBettingSites decided to use a Twitter sentiment analysis to discover which celebrity is fan favorite to replace Laura Whitmore.
After analysing over 300,000 tweets, results show that influencer Nella Rose is the most popular choice to replace Laura Whitmore! Nella achieved a popularity score of 71.25/100, high engagement across social media about her shows a keen interest from fans.
With over 700K subscribers on YouTube, the fashion and beauty influencer made her name online. However more recently, she’s gained experience as a presenter for the BBC, Netflix and at the 2021 Brit Awards.
In joint second place, are two Love Island alumni, the winner of the 2022 series Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu and series 5 favourite Maura Higgins with popularity scores of 53.75.
Despite having only left the villa at the start of this month, Ekin-Su has already landed major deals, including a £1m fashion deal with Oh Polly and her own ITV2 series with partner Davide Sanclimenti.
Maura has long been a firm favourite with fans of the show, despite finishing fourth she went on to appear on Dancing on Ice and has presenting experience from stints on This Morning and the Irish version of makeup competition series Glow Up.
In third place is Maya Jama, with a popularity score of 50. The 28 year old is a seasoned presenter, first starting her career way back in 2012.
Allison Hammond takes the fourth spot with a score of 41.25, after shooting to fame on Big Brother, Alison has endeared the nation with her humourous presenting style on This Morning.
In 5th and 6th place are Emily Atack and AJ Odudu with scores of 41.25 and 38.75 respectively.
