Neighbours: News of Hendrix’s condition causes shockwaves around Ramsay Street

This week in Erinsborough…

Monday: Lethargic and out of sorts, something’s up with Harlow. Behind the scenes, Corey is drugging her and isolating her from her loved ones. His manipulation has already begun to work – she has no idea what lies beneath his winning smile.

The news of Hendrix’s condition causes shockwaves around Ramsay Street. He’s infuriated by the acrimony around him, but with Levi’s help begins to work through his emotions. Now that his secret is out, he’ll have to face telling his family… In the wake of their nightmare barbecue, the Rodwells consider moving away but aren’t sure they can afford it. After an olive branch from the Kennedys, they decide to stay and make it work with their new neighbours.

Tuesday: Melanie’s put out when Amy thwarts her date plans with Toadie. Things go from bad to worse when Amy hates Melanie’s redesign of the Drinks Diva. She’s shocked when Toadie comforts Amy over her, prompting her to have a chat with Toadie about Amy’s involvement in his life…

When Freya and Levi run into each other, they have a warm reconnection. His follow-up visit to Freya confirms things between them are going well. With Levi ready to move forward, their old chemistry is back in action. Fearing David is onto him, Corey manipulates Harlow and turns her against her uncle. With the help of the drugs he’s feeding her, she becomes more and more alienated from her friends and family. It looks like Corey’s plan is working a treat.

Wednesday: It’s awkward at the vineyard as Glen wants to be there for Kiri but has no idea how to. Overwhelmed, she considers quitting and he feels responsible. Afraid of losing her, will Glen be able to convince Kiri to keep her job and stay in Erinsborough?

Corey’s plan is working a charm on Harlow, but David is still suspicious. With his snooping and Chloe looking into the incident at Fashion Week, Corey has to act fast, and he whisks Harlow away for a weekend trip. She’s unaware she may never see her family again.

Thursday: When Terese brings up her divorce settlement with Paul, he kicks things off with a lowball offer that riles her up. She argues for more shares in Lassiters, wanting to be an equal owner. Outraged, he refuses. The battle lines have been drawn.

Processing his diagnosis – and his friends and family’s reaction to it – has left Hendrix emotionally overwhelmed. He’s looking forward to a stress-free trip to Sydney… and decides he won’t be telling his family about his condition. Kiri’s struggling with her awkward work situation and turns to Chloe for comfort. After talking late into the night, she asks Chloe to stay with her – just to sleep. Chloe agrees, but are these two playing a risky game?

Friday: Hendrix and Mackenzie arrive in Sydney and take a trip down memory lane before visiting his family. He tries to keep his illness a secret but is forced to tell them when Alana notices his strange behaviour. With the support of his loved ones, Hendrix decides to take a huge step forward…
