Zack tells Nancy that he is no longer entering the cooking competition and Nancy opens up about her parents’ divorce. To lift their feelings, Nancy asks him to cook something for her and she later leans in for a passionate kiss.
Ignoring the divorce papers, Mick practices for his boxing match but concerned he is not capable, Shirley and Janine take action. As the fight commences, things are off to a bad start for Mick.
Later, the aftermath of the fight pales into significance for the Carters when DCI Arthurs reveals that Tina’s body has been found in the Argee Bhajee.
Suspicious, Shirley tells DCI Arthurs that Tina was taking money from her and that Gray said he saw her on the bus. As Shirley and Mick struggle to process from the news, Frankie returns to the Square.
Meanwhile, Gray returns home but is disgruntled a bigger deal hasn’t been made but his mind turns elsewhere when he sees a newspaper headline of a body found.
Elsewhere, Mitch goes on a date with a fare who took a shine to him.
EastEnders, BBC One, 8pm
Lydia shows Sarah threatening texts, making out they’re from Adam. Sarah points out they’re from a different number but when Lydia suggests she calls the number, Sarah’s shocked to find a phone ringing in Adam’s drawer. Adam arrives home to find Sarah dumping his stuff outside.
A desperate Adam calls at Lydia’s house asking to talk. Spotting a couple of passers-by, Lydia plays the victim and shouts at Adam to leave her alone, making out she’s scared.
Lydia eventually opens the door but as Adam steps inside, he’s horrified to see she’s trashed her house in another elaborate bid to set him up. As he pulls out his phone to call the police, Lydia tells him it’s too late as they’re already here. Is Adam in more trouble?
Meanwhile, Toyah finds Abi knocking back vodka and urges her to go to a support group. Abi later makes out to Toyah that she is getting help for her addiction but all is not as it seems.
Elsewhere, Emma promises Faye that she won’t see Jon again but she’s tempted.
