OTD 1981: Classical inspired murals in family home

ATV Today sent reporter John Mitchell to the home of Ken and Phyliss Stimpson at Ketton in Rutland. From the outside, it looks just like any other happy family home, inside however told a different story…

Ken Stimpson had painted classical style murals over the walls and ceilings of the house. The report shows Ken arriving home and views inside his house showing the classical-inspired murals featuring nude figures.

John Mitchell interviewed Mr and Mrs Stimpson about why he did the paintings and the feature also shows other people’s reactions.
