Sister Sledge ft Sledgendary release ‘Free’ music video

Sister Sledge ft Sledgendary, the next generation take on the iconic multi-award winning family group Sister Sledge, has released the official music video for their brand new single ‘FREE’ which dropped globally on Friday 18th February.

‘FREE’ is the first single released by the family as a collective in almost 20 years, with the song described as ‘uniting the iconic trademark groove of Sister Sledge with the fresh and energized identity of the next generation of one of the world’s most famous families’.

The music video blends studio footage, live performances and a good helping of Sledge family time as the dynamic family affair give us a glimpse into what is to come from their new line-up to the backdrop of their vibrant new track. You can watch the music video below…

A true family affair, Sister Sledge ft Sledgendary joins Grammy-nominated artist from the 1979 ‘We Are Family’ group Debbie Sledge, her daughter Camille Sledge, son David Sledge, Thaddeus Sledge, son of the late founding sister Joni Sledge, and long-term Sister Sledge vocalist Miss Tanya Ti-et who are taking on this ‘Sledgendary’ new chapter.
