Your Pick of the Plots for Monday, September 13.

Janine finds Scarlett and Tommy in Tommy’s bedroom but Tommy locks the door and throws the key down a crack in the floorboards – they’re trapped. Panic sets in when it becomes apparent there’s a fire.

Downstairs Phil is lying unconscious with flames surrounding him. He wakes up struggling to breathe. Outside, Ben and Callum notice the Mitchell house engulfed with flames, which we see are getting dangerously close to a gas cannister.

Meanwhile, Gray confronts Kheerat about leaving flowers on the anniversary of Chantelle’s death. Spotting the fire at Phil’s, Kheerat pushes past him. Gray follows Kheerat into the well-alit building.

An explosion goes off…

Elsewhere, Shirley thinks she may be responsible for the fire. The police arrive on the scene but it’s Jean they’re after.

Also, Linda is experiencing contractions as Jack asks her again if Max is the father.

EastEnders, BBC One, 8pm

Tyrone struggles to muster any interest in Alina’s Romanian wedding plans, more concerned for Fiz who is upset over a petition to have Hope removed from school. Tyrone is jealous when Phill takes Fiz to the bistro to take her mind off things.

Tyrone steals a moment with Fiz at the bistro, revealing to her that he misses her and that his engagement to Alina was an accident. How will Fiz react? Later, Tyrone puts the kibosh on going to Romania, noting the time isn’t right. Alina is hurt.

Meanwhile, Imran makes out that he got drunk and spent the night at the office.

Elsewhere, Abi has some devastating news for Kevin; James is frustrated about the police investigation; and Dev tries to make an effort with Aadi’s new girlfriend, Summer.

Coronation Street, ITV, 7.30pm and 8.30pm

Al suggests to Ellis and Priya they join forces to work on a large-scale boot camp survival challenge to be held at The HOP. Priya tells Ellis to pitch the idea first to Kim before Al steals all the credit.

Meanwhile, Marlon sees an opportunity.

Emmerdale, ITV, 7pm

Grace encourages Nate to get to know the locals, but it becomes clear he has an agenda as he sets his sights on the Deveraux family. Later, Nate consoles Grace after an awkward encounter with Felix and Martine, and Grace entices him to the bedroom.

Meanwhile, a frustrated Sienna struggle to focus on work as she can’t get Summer out of her mind. Liberty encourages her to confide in Brody.

Later, DS Cohen has a new development in the Summer case.

Elsewhere, Ella takes the next step to normality as she returns to school. She soon has regrets when she notices there are mean posts about her on the school’s online page.

Also, Goldie has a tonne of ideas for Prince’s big day unaware that he is hiding a big secret.

Hollyoaks, Channel 4, 6.30pm

Valerie arrives at work to find a suspicious package, ticking, on reception. She looks up how to instigate Significant Event Protocol. Jimmi arrives, and she fills him in. But just as they are about to act, Al comes in – it’s his box! He takes it to Ruhma, can she help assess if anything in it is valuable – he’s been clearing out his mother’s attic.

Ruhma sends him off to see a dealer friend for an evaluation. Valerie feels left out.

Meanwhile, Sid supervises a young Rapid Response Paramedic, but nothing goes right.
