The Sun reported this week that ‘Nikki Grahame will be honoured in new Channel 4 show five months after her tragic death aged just 38.’ Nikki of course was best known for her time on Big Brother.

Lee Ryan told a court he cannot afford to pay a fine for failing to provide details about who was driving his car when it was caught speeding, BBC News reported, they add the fine was £1,501. Lee said covid means he hasn’t been able to work so is skint, he told Peterborough Magistrates’ Court via video link, from, er, Spain…


Radio legend Tony Blackburn says ‘stunt hiring’ in radio is ruining radio stations. “Quite often now you’ve got television people, who don’t really know what they’re doing on the radio, it’s a shame.”

Speaking on the ‘Moon Under Water’ podcast, Tony added, “If you’re on ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ or one of these shows, you immediately get on because you’re a ‘celebrity’. I don’t think people who run these radio stations realise that television isn’t as important as it used to be because there aren’t the big audiences anymore.”


Jo Brand has revealed that she experienced difficult emotional knockbacks as a “desperate” teenager because she wasn’t conventionally attractive. RTÉ News noted ‘she does not think of herself as “pretty” but does not dislike her appearance.’ Glad we got that cleared up.


One time singer Kerry Katona is raffling her £100,000 Range Rover in a £30 a ticket competition. The Sun report ‘Kerry had asked fans whether they’d like to make her offers for the motor or if she should organise a raffle.’ The tabloid also adds ‘The 2017 blue SVR  monster is valued at around £60,000, so the 40-year-old will need to shift roughly 2000 tickets’


Little Mix’s Perrie Edwards welcomed her first baby with Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain Digital Spy revealed. ‘The former The X Factor star made the announcement on her Instagram page’ they added.


Steph McGovern has had to have her ring removed by firefighters after trapping her finger in a door, causing it to become severely swollen, Digital Spy reported. They add, ‘The host of Channel 4’s Steph’s Packed Lunch had to enlist the help of firefighter staff to have the ring cut off at Harrogate Fire Station in North Yorkshire.’

Following a seven week summer hosted by Eamonn Holmes OBE and Ruth Langsford, ITV’s flagship daytime show will be introducing a new guest host to the This Morning family later this month.

Guest host Vernon Kay will front the show with Rochelle Humes for the first time next week. Vernon said, “This Morning is the daytime go to show, so to be asked to guest host on a show I’ve watched since its inception is a huge tick for me. I’m really looking forward to working with Rochelle and sitting on that famous sofa.”
