As Max and Lily excitedly rip open their Christmas presents, Shona gives David a six-foot cuddly rabbit to replace Barney, his childhood pet. David loves it. When Lily gets a jewellery, bead stuck up her nose, David and Shona reluctantly set off for A&E. Whilst the nurse sees to Lily, Shona calms her down and makes her giggle as David watches with a heavy heart realising how much the kids will miss her.
Later, having returned to the street, David and Shona approach Jenny’s drinks stall. But Shona loses it and storms off when she spots Daisy being flirtatious with David. David finds Shona in Victoria Garden and they finally clear the air. After admitting that they still love each other and want to make a go of it, David forms a plan.
At No.8, David and Shona, with the help of Max and Lily, re-enact their wedding day. As the Platts tumble out of No.8, the snow begins to fall and Shona stares up in wonderment. David gazes at his wife, his love for her renewed.
Meanwhile, Toyah and Imran are happy to be looking after baby Mason albeit both are slightly out of their depth. Gemma calls at the builder’s yard flat and gives Toyah and Imran some parenting tips. Toyah realises they’ve a lot to learn. Ignoring Toyah’s messages, Leanne hides away in her flat, consumed with grief.

Lexi is opening her Christmas presents when Ian storms over, accusing Ben of trying to kill him. The police soon turn up and make an arrest. Later in the day, Ian joins Sharon at Dennis’s grave but is too distracted by his own turmoil, so Sharon sends him home.
Later, Ian is consumed with fear at The Vic as once more, someone else is there. The truth will come to light about who wants him dead. Someone makes a lethal move but will this be Ian’s last Christmas?
Meanwhile, Denise comes face to face with a ghost from her past – Lucas. He has Chelsea in tow, but why are they together? Chelsea is equally as dumbfounded to see her mum with Raymond. Later, as a shaken Denise tells her family what happened, they’re interrupted by Chelsea. As Denise tries to get Chelsea to see that Lucas is dangerous, Kim notices that Patrick has disappeared.
Elsewhere, Stacey receives her present from Martin, she is surprised to see what he got her. The Slaters are involved in a raucous family game when Ruby arrives. Jean suggests they all go to the pub, Later, Stacey and Martin leave The Vic together. Encouraged by his thoughtful gift, Stacey takes a chance on love and kisses him.
Also, Mick and Ollie have lunch with Shirley, Tina, Gray and his kids. Mick freezes when Tina gives him an old photograph of them and Katy at the care home.

Elsewhere, Rishi prepares to surprise Jai and Laurel’s kids by dressing as Santa, but Manpreet and Priya quickly convince him to drop the act. Kim is incredulous when Jamie reveals he has suggested that he and Andrea get back together, but does Andrea have other plans?
