Pick of the Plots: Wednesday 4th March

The latest goings on in Coronation Street, Emmerdale, Hollyoaks and Doctors.

Whilst Sarah does her best to talk some sense into Bethany and get her to accept that Daniel has not moved on from Sinead, Adam goes to try and talk to Daniel who is drinking in the Rovers. He’s stunned though when Daniel tells him he is going to prove he loves Bethany by proposing to her. When he does just that, how will Bethany react? Bethany realises she needs to leave Weatherfield but will she leave alone.

Meanwhile, Tyrone tells Fiz that at Hope’s insistence, he’s bought a cheap bracelet for Jade for her birthday. Later, Jade calls at the garage and thanks Tyrone for the bracelet. But when he is kind to her she takes it the wrong way and going to the house later she makes a pass at him. The incident leaves Fiz fuming.

Elsewhere, Geoff reveals to Tim that he’s got some savings and he’d like to pay for his and Sally’s wedding. Alya gets into her head that Ray is behind the nasty reviews about Speed Daal. A panicked Geoff cautions her not to ‘poke the bear’.

Also, Adam dupes Ali into confessing to his recent fling with Maria.

Coronation Street, Wednesday at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on ITV, STV and UTV.

Everyone glares at Charity when Marlon makes her reveal she sat on evidence which could have led to his release from prison.

Meanwhile, Harriet is annoyed when Will breaks his promise.

Elsewhere, Kim finds herself in deep water.

Emmerdale, Wednesday at 7pm on ITV, STV and UTV.

Verity turns up at Diane’s flat and Diane is furious to hear that Tony tried to kiss his sister. Later, Edward prepares a romantic dinner for Tony and Diane and tells them to kiss and make up. However, Edward lets Verity in on his plan to steal Diane away from Tony.

Meanwhile, Jack wakes Darren up when he’s running late. Nancy drops Oscar and Charlie off for Darren to take to school and warns him not to forget to pick Oscar up later. However, he does forget, and Nancy can’t contain her anger. Her words have a bigger effect on Darren than she knows.

Elsewhere, Toby and Celeste discuss their lack of progress with the Deverauxs. They find out about Louis Loveday’s death at the hands of Breda and think it’s something they can work with.

Hollyoaks, Wednesday at 6.30pm on Channel 4 and a ‘first look’ at 7pm on E4.

Karen shares her suspicions about Abz with Rob, who asks Mal about what Mal said in his interview. Slater bats him away, no DNA match, no evidence. The Inspector wants to speak to Rob while Abz meets Polly, Pastoral Care Advisor. She and Karen go back to the flat, which is a mess. Later, Slater arrives, they need to talk to Abz again – without Karen. Slater pushes and pushes, finding flaws in her story, and eventually Abz admits that nothing happened, she made it all up. Can she go now?

Polly insists that Abz apologise to Mal et al, in person, in public. Later, Karen sees another patient, Erin, with similar wounds to Abz, coming out from seeing Zara. Zara tells her what she was in for and Karen hares after Erin. She catches her, and says she has to ask her a difficult question…

Meanwhile, Abz finds herself at a train station, and makes her way on to a bridge, distraught that she is now totally isolated…

Also, Zara has car dramas and gets involved with a Student Radio phone in.
