Pick of the Plots: Monday 25th November

The latest goings on in Coronation Street, EastEnders, Emmerdale, Hollyoaks and Doctors.

SoapWeek: Corrie

Gemma reveals to Chesney that Kel is a paedophile. He’s horrified to think that he’s spent time with Joseph, and is glad when the police turn up and arrest Kel on suspicion of burglary. During his interview, the police show Kel the photos found at his flat.

Meanwhile, Paul’s angry when Bernie reveals she’s reported Kel for sexual abuse, feeling unable to open up. Later, Gemma and Paul come to Bernie’s aid when Kel takes her hostage at No.5. Bernie promises to be a better mum to them both and Paul asserts that he wants to see Kel behind bars – he’s ready to make a statement.

Elsewhere, Tyrone and Fiz throw a fireworks party to please Hope. They’re later alarmed to find the back yard on fire and an amused Hope watching on. Jack claims that the fire had nothing to do with Hope, but Fiz breaks down, admitting to Tyrone that she was probably behind the factory fire too.

Also, Michael begs Grace to give him another chance; Richard and Roy bond over their love of steam trains; Nick reveals his plans for the factory, leaving the girls up in arms.

Coronation Street, Monday at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on ITV, STV and UTV.


SoapWeek: EastEnders

Despite feeling hungover, Linda takes Ollie to school so that Mick can attend his doctor’s appointment. As they arrive, Linda accidentally backs into another car and convinced nobody has seen, she drives away. However, unbeknownst to her, someone has been watching.

Later, Linda emerges from school with Chantelle to see Mieko and Shelley waiting with two police officers. As Linda defends herself, she is left humiliated when she is breathalysed and arrested. Meanwhile back at The Vic, Mick gets plans for the wife swap competition underway.

Elsewhere, Sharon feels guilty that Louise thinks her mum is unwell; Ian holds an event to promote his Walford Councillor campaign but his reputation is compromised by an unwelcome visitor.

Also, Max feels Ruby is avoiding him. Billy gives Karen a second trial at E20 – but will he regret it?

EastEnders, Monday at 8pm on BBC One.

Dawn discovers Al’s secret.

SoapWeek: Hollyoaks

It’s the day of Liberty’s implantation but Sienna isn’t ready to go through IVF again. She reassures Brody that she still wants to be a mum, but she just needs time. Brody tells Liberty that they need to respect Sienna’s wishes, but Liberty knows that he’s giving up what he wants.

Liberty decides to keep the appointment but it’s bad news … Sienna’s last embryo is no longer viable. But before she can break the news, Sienna decides that she does want to try surrogacy again – it could be her last chance to be a mum.

Elsewhere, Ollie decides to put Brooke first; Luke continues to keep his secret health battle from Cindy; Marnie buzzes with plans for her French inspired café.

Hollyoaks, Monday at 6.30pm on Channel 4 and a ‘first look’ at 7pm on E4.
