Ryan tells Ali that he should take threats from Gary seriously, but Ali goes to the empty furniture shop and finds Gary’s ledger. Later, Ali calls at the salon flat but is taken aback to find Gary there alone. Fronting it out, he pulls out the ledger and tells Gary that he’s sure Maria will be interested to know that he’s been operating as a loan shark.
Meanwhile, Robert assures Vicky he will tell Michelle about the baby soon. Back on the street he is horrified to see Tyler who tells him that he and Amy have become mates. Later, Carla is confused when Amy tells her that Robert has grassed her up to Steve re Tyler, Michelle is baffled as to why Robert would get involved.
Elsewhere, Geoff ensures that Yasmeen sees him looking at a dating site, saying it is research for his radio show. Geoff lies to Yasmeen that he was planning to take her on a romantic break to Vegas but as she doesn’t trust him, he’s not going to bother.
Also, Ray tells Alya that his partnership hasn’t worked out with Michelle and asks her if she would like to take over. Carla is worried about Roy’s online Scrabble addiction.

Lisa gets increasingly annoyed at Mel taking over with Louise, while Mel toasts Ruby buying the club and tells her she’s planning a massive joint party for Sharon and Louise. Later, Lisa accuses Mel of buying Louise’s affections, leading to a scene on the Square.
Elsewhere, Jay decides it’s time to step back from Coker’s and Ben seizes the opportunity to help Callum earn more money – by taking Jay’s job. Ben reveals his idea but doesn’t get the reaction he expected from Callum.

Liam surreptitiously enters The Dog flat and when Sylver and Grace fall back into bed together, he plants the gun determined to see Sylver go down for attempted murder. As the police arrive, Grace finds the gun and sneaks out with it. Sylver tells the police about Liam’s motive and they find Liam trying to drive away in possession of the gun and arrest him, while a smug Sylver watches on.
Elsewhere, Ste manages to throw a secret note over the fence to the Maalik’s; Sami continues with preparations for his and Sinead’s wedding but isn’t as excited as Azim. It’s revealed that he’s been trying to get in touch with Sinead but she’s not responding.

Ruhma has an emotional moment on Heston’s memorial bench – it’s a year tomorrow since he died. Later, Ruhma freaks out to discover the bench has gone. Fearing it has been stolen, Karen phones Rob to see what they can do. Rob suggests they put photos up on social media, basically make it too hot to handle. But Ruhma thinks this is pointless and resolves to find the missing bench herself…
Over at the Icon it has been a bit of a day trying to get everything ready for the re-launch. Jimmi’s nerves have been severely tested but the event gets off to a good start.
There’s some speculation about Daniel and Becky’s break up but Valerie is more interested in Adam. Later Al does a speech and they all toast the Icon and Heston although Ruhma’s absence is felt.
