Pick of the Plots: Wednesday 11th September
The latest goings on in Coronation Street, Emmerdale, Hollyoaks and Doctors.
Having been to the hospital for a scan, Daniel suggests a mini-moon to Sinead to take their minds off the results. However, their plans are scuppered when Sinead is recalled to the hospital much sooner than anticipated. The young couple are given the devastating news that Sinead has just months to live. Sinead blames herself for delaying her chemo but Daniel reminds her why she did so. As Daniel and Sinead stare out of the window at people going about their daily lives, they cling to each other, utterly bereft.
Meanwhile, Maria’s disappointed after a night away with Ali, which he pretty much sleep through. Worried he’s working too hard Maria arrives at the hospital with lunch but Ali’s distracted as his dealer is arrested and dragged away.
Elsewhere,Robert returns home and apologises to Michelle, telling her the franchise idea is a goer after all. However, Ray tells Michelle he’s had a rethink. Sophie tries to get Kevin to see sense regarding Abi; Johnny thanks an uncomfortable Jenny for the generosity she’s shown his daughter.

Marlon catches Jessie out as she considers taking the new job.
Meanwhile, Rishi reveals his masterplan to Jai and Manpreet – he’s determined to rebuild his business empire from scratch.
Elsewhere, Moira and Nate are interrupted; Doug is riddled with guilt.

Sylver confronts Liam, wanting to know if he was the one who ran Grace over. Liam admits to the deed but keeps Mercedes name out of it. He begs Sylver not to relay his confession to Grace. As Mercedes returns from shopping, she is spooked to see Sylver and Liam together and decides to book a termination.
Finn returns home to the village and surprises Diane. She offers him money to stay in a B&B because she hasn’t told Sinead that he’s coming back. He tells his mum that he’s changed and he just wants a chance to prove it. Meanwhile, it’s the day of Laurie’s funeral and Sinead wants to celebrate that there’s one less rapist in the World.
Elsewhere, Imran is suspicious of Juliet and tells Ollie to go and fix things with Brooke. Juliet lies to Brooke that Ollie’s dumped her because he knows about the baby.
Hollyoaks, Wednesday at 6.30pm on Channel 4 and a ‘first look’ at 7pm on E4.
Russell is holding Daisy May when Ruhma arrives, wanting to check her chest. When Russell finally makes his feelings about her daily visits clear, Ruhma makes a swift exit. She is later uneasy when Laura calls her for help, however she obliges with a visit, confessing to Laura that she has empty nest syndrome.
Meanwhile, Jimmi tells Ruhma that the Baby Josh case is going to court. Ruhma visits Theresa and Phil at the hospital. They are angry at the lack of willingness to try and save their son and have got it into their heads that a hospital in Poland is the answer.
Elsewhere, Karen witnesses Daniel and Becky kiss at the Icon Bar and wastes no time in telling others what she saw.
