Pick of the Plots: Tuesday April 30th
The latest goings on in EastEnders, Emmerdale, Hollyoaks and Doctors.
Stacey and Kat reel from the news that Sean is back but agree not to tell Jean who has a chemotherapy appointment. At The Vic they find Jean furiously cleaning and, despite her earlier reservations, Stacey admits Sean is back. Jean is livid Stacey hasn’t told her sooner and refuses to go to her appointment.
As tensions rise, Sean interrupts them and Jean is ecstatic to reunite with her son. After an explosive confrontation with Ruby, Sean takes Jean to her appointment. At the hospital, Sean is overwhelmed to see the extent of what his mum is going through but when he questions what the future could hold, Jean shuts him down leaving him angry.
Noticing the impact his arrival has had on Jean, Stacey gives her brother a harsh talking to and he contemplates leaving Walford, but when Jean suggests some time together away from Walford, he agrees.
Elsewhere, Billy’s thoughtfulness plants doubts in Honey’s mind about moving in with Adam.

Running late, Megan is in the car with Eliza, and sends Frank a message, assuring him that she’s on her way. As she’s texting, she accidentally crashes into the back of a car, which knocks over Pollard. Unscathed, Megan looks on in horror at the carnage she’s caused with just one text.
Meanwhile, Faith complains to Chas and Bear about Pollard’s dismissive behaviour towards her. Bear is more than happy to be a shoulder to cry on and moves in for a kiss with Faith. Later, Faith, Chas and David are all terrified when Pollard falls unconscious and is rushed into surgery.
Elsewhere, Jamie Tate, whose car Megan ran into, arrives at Home Farm demanding his car keys, but Kim plays innocent and offers to help him find them. Secretly she’s determined to spend some time with him. Liv is caught red-handed.
Emmerdale, Tuesday at 7pm and 8pm on ITV, STV and UTV.
Liam tells Grace that his gun is missing and that it must be in Prince’s possession. After Grace lets it slip to her that her son has a gun, Goldie comforts a broken Prince.
Meanwhile, Yazz and Peri are arguing with Ste and Leela is trying to calm the situation. Jonny convinces Ste not to go to Lily’s funeral. Later, Leela finds the meme and tells Ste to delete it.
Elsewhere Diane has a lot on her plate and the food isn’t prepared yet, so Walter offers Martine’s help.
Hollyoaks, Tuesday at 6.30pm on Channel 4 and a ‘first look’ at 7pm on E4.
Alia is revising hard for her exams and Ruhma wants to help her as much as she can. She’s concerned that Alia is revising during Ramadan and isn’t sure how she will handle it.
Meanwhile, Becky is daydreaming about Enzo when she is interrupted by Daniel who wants to explain his reasons for not training Ayesha. Becky decides to try and use a role play exercise to prove her point but this doesn’t go down well.
Later, Becky shows Daniel the financial benefits of training Ayesha in a a last-ditch attempt to talk him round.
