Pick of the Plots: Wednesday January 9th
The latest goings on in Coronation Street, Emmerdale, Hollyoaks and Doctors.
Audrey calls in at the salon and tells David how the bank is refusing to reimburse her meanwhile Evelyn lets it slip that Claudia is having an extension put on to her salon. Audrey storms up to Claudia accusing her of stealing her £80k but an affronted Claudia denies having knowledge of the AWOL funds. Later, when Claudia is at Ken’s, Audrey swoops in to warn him about her before, against Nick’s advice, contacting the police to point the finger of suspicion at Claudia.
Meanwhile, Tim makes a statement to the police about what Gina found out while Sally continues to have a hard time when her new cell mate suspects her of reporting her for dealing drugs. Later, the police call at No.4 and explain to Tim and Sophie that without an actual confession from Duncan, Sally will remain where she is. Tim takes a call from the prison telling him Sally’s been beaten up and when he speaks to her himself it’s clear she’s at the end of her tether.
Elsewhere, Eileen orchestrates a meeting between Liz, Jenny and Johnny however Liz heads off on a mission. Later, a police car pulls up on the street – is the game up for Johnny and Jenny?
Also, Cathy and Rita persuade Brian to work at The Kabin; Paul continues to flirt with Billy.

Belle and Sam visit Lachlan; Belle isn’t fooled by his display of remorse but Sam believes that he’s genuinely changed. However, Lachlan later takes out a hidden mobile phone and makes a call, instructing someone to up the ante…
Meanwhile, Cain and Moira are concerned to hear that Debbie has reported Joe missing and Debbie accuses Graham of doing something to Joe.
Graham downs a whisky as Cain feels the net closing in on him.
Emmerdale, Wednesday at 7pm on ITV, STV and UTV.
Sienna finds out about Brody’s testimony and rushes off to support him.
Later, Sienna admits to Laurie that Juliet’s blackmailing her. Laurie tells her not to worry, he holds on to her waist, for slightly too long…
Buster manages to send a letter to Damon, telling him not to lie on the stand. Damon’s up to testify. Meanwhile, Ollie visits Luke in prison, and they both support each other.
Hollyoaks, Wednesday at 6.30pm on Channel 4 and a ‘first look’ at 7pm on E4.
Ruhma takes Alia to The Icon for Brunch – it’s clear she has a big announcement to make but she keeps putting it off. Before Ruhma can break the news of the house sale, Emma arrives and puts her foot in it, leaving Alia vexed. Ruhma tries to explain that she needs an escape from the memories of the old house and that she received a great offer, but Alia’s having none of it.
Meanwhile, the staff are disturbed by the frosty atmosphere between Daniel and Zara whilst Ayesha notices Sid is particularly jumpy around Daniel. Zara ticks Sid off for indulging a hypochondriac patient, Daniel is furious when he sees them talking. After getting dark looks from Daniel Sid tries to raise his suspicions with Zara but is shut down.
At the end of the day, Sid talks to Zara again to explain that his ‘hypochondriac’ patient might have cancer and was right to come in. Seeing them in such close proximity again is too much for Daniel to bear.
