Daniel and Sinead attend a 12 week scan and are thrilled to see pictures of their baby on the screen. However, alone with the sonographer Sinead reveals that she has been bleeding. Checks turn up a lump requiring further investigation, and Sinead is warned of the implications if it is cancerous. When Daniel reveals he’s heard from his mum but is snubbing the contact as she and the baby are the only things what matter to him, Sinead decides to keep her heartbreak to herself.
Meanwhile, Robert shows Ryan and Michelle a report about Cormac’s supplier being found dead. Ryan blames himself for both deaths. In fear of Ronan, Ryan reveals he is planning to do a runner and suggests Ali do the same. Ali refuses and when the police arrive, and a bag of pills are found in his pocket, Ryan’s plans are thwarted.
Elsewhere, Hannah tells Jim they need to up the stakes but Jim has an attack of conscience when Steve asks him to be his best man; Jack is struggling with being back at school; and Bethany is desperate to make amends to David.

Connor comes looking for Graham and threatens Joe with a gun, demanding to know where Graham is. Worried for his life, Joe tells Connor he too hates Graham and will ensure he is at Home Farm tomorrow.
David is shocked to find himself face to face with a blast from the past – Leyla.
Elsewhere, Tracy and Victoria lay flowers on Finn’s grave. Tracy is puzzled by Victoria’s demeanour.

After discovering him half naked in James’ flat, Marnie tells Harry he must choose between Ste and James. Later, James gives Harry an ultimatum.
Prince spots Hunter dangling Mac over the edge of the arch but he and Asha manage to talk him down. Asha and Hunter leave for Brighton together.
Elsewhere, Brody uses Damon’s ID to visit Buster in prison, he wants an apology, but Buster once again belittles him. Sienna confronts Brody over how he treated Liberty.
Hollyoaks, Wednesday at 6.30pm on Channel 4 and a ‘first look’ at 7pm on E4.

James finally opens up to Karen… He was targeted by a bully, Baz Clegg at a bedsit and felt that he couldn’t speak up. James reveals that he lost his job at the garage, and that Baz started beating him up. He escaped out of a window.
James’s story is accompanied by flashback sequences… we see him on the streets, deprived of sleep and food. Eventually someone, Ned, another homeless person, helped him and took him to hospital after he was beaten up again. James wants to know if Ned is ok. Karen fills Rob in. Meanwhile, Heston has managed to arrange an assessment.
