Pick of the Plots: Monday March 26th

We take a look at the latest goings on in Coronation Street, EastEnders, Emmerdale, Hollyoaks and Doctors.

SoapWeek: Corrie

With David and Shona at odds over his decision to emigrate, Maria points out getting a visa may pose an issue. Martin arrives and David is furious to discover he’s been talking to Josh. Martin’s baffled by David’s desperation to move whilst Sarah points out that it’s not what Shona and the kids want. As Martin prepares to leave, David reaches a decision.

Meanwhile, Gail explains to a sceptical Audrey, Roy and Brian that Richard Hillman has put a curse on the family and that Rosemary has offered to help, in return for payment. When Audrey is mugged outside the salon, Gail is convinced this is proof of the curse. However, on Audrey’s advice, Gail decides to let sleeping dogs lie.

Elsewhere, Peter and Leanne are shocked to hear what Roy has to say about Simon; Mona has some shock news for Phelan – the concrete he laid is going to have to be dug up and re-laid; Carla gets the keys to the factory.

Coronation Street, Monday at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on ITV, UTV and STV.


SoapWeek: EastEnders

The Slaters receive unwanted attention following Mo’s scam.

Meanwhile, Keegan avoids school and meets up with his dad. Whilst Keegan is hoping to take a day trip, Mitch has other ideas when he finds out that Keegan has been in trouble at school. Mitch invites headteacher Mrs Lund over to build some bridges. Later, realising the positive effect he’s had, Karen agrees to hear Mitch out.

Elsewhere, Sharon is outraged to find Phil with a young woman at their home; Ted’s livid when Bernie misses a chess session in favour of hanging out with Tiffany.

EastEnders, Monday at 8pm on BBC One. Repeated at 10pm on UKTV channel ‘W’.


SoapWeek: Emmerdale

Graham firmly suggests that Joe should move on from Debbie, but desperate Joe seems to have a plan. Later, Graham approaches with a proposition for Debbie. She’s suspicious when he tells her that Joe wants to rent her Jacob’s Fold. As Graham tries to convince her that the offer’s legit, Debbie’s shocked when he opens up about his tragic past.

Meanwhile, Jacob’s struggling to cope with Tracy and David’s separation. He talks to Tracy and when she mentions David’s exes being an issue he realises what he has to do. Things turn nasty when Priya finds Jacob packing her bags, but Priya tells him some home truths…

Elsewhere, Moira asks a favour of Ross; Vanessa’s filled with dread to hear that an inspector is coming to the vets.

Emmerdale, Monday at 7pm on ITV, STV and UTV.


SoapWeek: Hollyoaks

Leah has a change of heart about outing Ryan and Ste’s relationship at Amy’s memorial, however Leela finds the texts and makes a scene all of her own. Later, Kyle tells DS Thorpe he was with Ryan the night of his wedding to Amy, blowing apart Ryan’s alibi. A suspicious DS Thorpe reviews the evidence around Amy’s death.

Meanwhile, Adam is drinking heavily after helping Glenn hide Trigger’s body, he calls DS Roxy urging him to hurry up and arrest Glenn. Shane picks up some drugs for Glenn and visits Simone on his way back. They kiss, however Simone finds the drugs and swills them down the sink.

Also tonight, Jesse gets a visiting order from Goldie but lies to Courtney.

Hollyoaks, Monday at 6.30pm on Channel 4 and a ‘first look’ at 7pm on E4.


Doctors Pick of the Plots logo

Daniel is called out to see a young male-to-female transgender patient. Joni (formerly Johnny) has fainted three times. Her mum, Lou, fills Daniel in on Joni’s troubled background.

Daniel is particularly considerate and caring with Joni, and suggests the fainting may have been caused by emotional stress. Lou confides that they are considering going to America for hormone treatment, as Joni wants it as soon as possible. They ask Daniel to support their case, but will he?

Elsewhere, Al returns from his holiday.

Doctors, Monday at 1.45pm on BBC One.
