Pick of the Plots: Tuesday October 3rd

SoapWorld takes a look at the latest goings on in River City, EastEnders, Emmerdale, Hollyoaks and Doctors.

SoapWeek: River City

Bob takes drastic action in order to step up and provide for his family, but soon questions whether he’s bitten off more than he can chew. As Lenny grapples with his retirement Pete gets a promotion, but struggles with the pressure of his clashing work and home life, until a new pal comes to his aid.

River City, Tuesday at 8pm on BBC One Scotland.


SoapWeek: EastEnders

Carmel is left shaken by recent events but as she shares her fears with Kush, he gives her a reality check and tells her not to upset Stacey. Later, Carmel drops by to help Stacey but her real agenda soon becomes clear. Carmel softens towards Stacey when she gets upset, but her concerns for Arthur persist when she makes a worrying discovery.

With Gethin continuing to snub her, Bex flirts with Shakil in the café in a bid to make him jealous. Gethin ignores her yet again leading Bex to kiss a stunned Shakil. After Gethin tells Bex to stop, she is later devastated to see him kissing her mum.

Elsewhere, Ben and Luke go on a date before heading back to the Arches again; Michelle continues to feel uneasy about Tom; Keanu contemplates becoming a life model; and Linda and Mick offer Woody a permanent job.

EastEnders, Tuesday at 7.30pm on BBC One. Repeated at 10pm on UKTV channel ‘W’.


SoapWeek: Emmerdale

Adam and Victoria spot the barn ablaze and rush to help out. When Adam sees Emma’s bloody hands, he chases after her with a gun.

Emma, however, manages to get her hands on the weapon and runs through the woods before firing a shot in the dark. Someone’s badly injured but who? Meanwhile, Victoria calls the paramedics for Moira.

Elsewhere, Cain and Harriet decide to go away together.

Emmerdale, Tuesday at 7pm on ITV, STV and UTV.


SoapWeek: Hollyoaks

It’s the day of Tracey’s funeral which Jesse decides not to attend. Lisa confronts Darcy with evidence that she was on the boat the night Tracey died. Darcy lies her way out of it, however she is later confronted by her mystery man, Glenn, who is more certain of her guilt.

Meanwhile, after getting close to Courtney, Jesse decides to attend Tracey’s wake but things between him and Adam become heated. When Jesse and Adam join Darcy and Glenn, it becomes clear that Glenn is their dad. Elsewhere, Courtney’s health has taken a turn for the worse.

Also, Brody charms Ellie into giving himself and Damon jobs at The Dog. Milo is furious when he catches Dirk with stolen goods.

Hollyoaks, Tuesday at 6.30pm on Channel 4 and a ‘first look’ at 7pm on E4.


Doctors Pick of the Plots logo

With Rob’s whereabouts unknown, Karen’s worried and turns to his friend/colleague DCI Driver. Their conversation provides revelations for both of them as to what has been happening and Rob’s possible state of mind. Driver kicks the full power of Letherbridge police into gear to search for Rob.

Elsewhere, Al tests the theory that acts of kindness leave one with a warm glow; Geoffrey the cat gives Valerie ‘paws’ for thought.

Doctors, Tuesday at 1.45pm on BBC One.
