BBC One continues its commitment to the Invictus Games with more coverage on the channel than ever before.

The Invictus Games Toronto 2017 programming begins on BBC One on Sunday the 17th of September with a hour long documentary Invictus: Battle To The Start Line, narrated by actress Carmen Ejogo (Selma). Coverage of the games themselves are on BBC One every evening from Sunday 24 September – Sunday 1 October 2017.
Founded by Prince Harry, the Invictus Games is an international multi-sport event open to all wounded, injured and sick serving personnel and veterans. For the 2017 Invictus Games, over 770 people registered their interest for the 90 person strong UK team and over 300 hopefuls trialled for the squad.
JJ Chalmers, Ade Adepitan and Daraine Mulvihill lead the coverage in live shows from the BBC’s studio in Nathan Phillips Square, Toronto. Joining the studio presenters, and providing a backdrop of expert opinion and insight into the individual sporting events, are Rachael Latham and Steve Brown. This year welcomes two new members of the commentating team: Team GB Track and Field Paralympian Stef Reid and two times Invictus Games Gold Medallist Jaco van Gass.
