Danny Dyer threatens to ‘iron out’ Craig Revel Horwood

The actor – famed for his hardman roles – made the tongue-in-cheek promise in an interview with The Daily Star.

Danny doesn’t want the sharp-tongued Strictly Come Dancing judge going in on his screen wife Kellie Bright when she takes to the dance floor in this year’s series.

“I’ll be there for the first show, of course. I’m rooting for Kellie. She’s my screen wife and I love her dearly. If Craig is nasty to Kellie then I am going to iron him out. I’m very protective of her so we will see how it goes.” – Danny Dyer

“I know she’s going to be a bit ratty at times. I can deal with that,” he further noted. “She’s going to be brilliant, I reckon she’s got a great chance of winning because the geezer Kevin Clifton who she’s dancing with is bang on. He’s a Grimsby nut although he’s smaller than her, which is a bit odd.”

On whether he could be tempted to sign up for the BBC’s most popular show himself, Dyer said:

“I’m not good at dancing – maybe only when I’ve had a few lagers. Can you really see me doing all that? It’s not my game. There are other ways I can earn money. I’ve done a book, that’s my Strictly.

 

“She’s got three months’ mincing around on the dance floor. I couldn’t be doing with that. I’m too lazy.”

Strictly Come Dancing returns to BBC One in two weeks time.
