Pick of the Plots: Tuesday August 15th

SoapWorld takes a look at the latest goings on in River City, EastEnders, Emmerdale, Hollyoaks and Doctors this Tuesday.

Amber rages when Lenny clashes with Lydia over concerns about their granddaughter, and they end up ruining Charlotte’s birthday party. Encouraged by Lenny, Annie feeds bogus information to Grant, but its violent consequences come home to roost. Stevie puts Bob’s nose out of joint, while Pete’s determination to get Caitlin back not only causes an unexpected announcement, but makes Danny feel unwanted in Shieldinch.

River City, Tuesday at 8pm on BBC One Scotland.

Ben’s good mood at being gifted The Arches sours when he finds out the car lot land is worth more. Kathy is riled by the news and confronts Phil. Later, Ben shares some home truths with Phil and rejects his gift. Meanwhile, Jay is paranoid that Sharon has an issue with him but she gives him her blessing.  

Carmel hosts a dinner for Max, Shakil and Kush but the atmosphere soon turns sour when Shakil refuses to engage with Max. Kush makes more of an effort but is wary of Max. Later, Steven finds himself trapped when Max insists he helps with his latest plan. 

Elsewhere Linda continues to take back control at the Vic; Sonia offers to take Mr Pryce to The Vic.

Emma searches for the note and is shaken when Finn presents it to her. Seeing his mum upset, Finn doesn’t probe any further. Later, however, Finn is suspicious when Emma mentions to Leyla that she no longer has her wedding dress. Emma covers that she destroyed it because of James and Moira. Later, Finn finally calls Emma out on the timeline of events with James. Will Emma tell the truth? And if she does, how will Finn react?

Adam spots Sarah wangling more money out of Pete and when he asks her about it, she says Pete’s been giving her money since she saw him speaking with Priya. Later, Adam confronts Pete about sleeping with Priya but Pete insists he’s committed to Leyla.

Harriet is pleased when Cain apologises to the Bishop and both Cain and Harriet agree they shouldn’t change who they are for anyone.

Emmerdale, Tuesday at 7pm on ITV, STV and UTV.

Sienna panics when she can’t find the necklace Warren bought her and runs out of hospital to find it – giving Warren and Joel the impression she’s done a runner. Later, Sienna returns to the hospital but finds the blackmail letter, which reveals that Warren has been lying to her. She’s taken to theatre thinking the worst.

Darcy and Jesse plan a BBQ to celebrate their engagement whilst Grace meets up with a private investigator to find out dirt on Darcy. Later, Darcy turns to her mystery man for help again.

Elsewhere Tegan applies for the receptionist’s job at Hollyoaks High; Neeta is jealous when she sees Hunter kiss Peri on their date.
