SoapWorld takes a look at the latest goings on in EastEnders, Emmerdale, Hollyoaks and Doctors this Thursday.

SoapWeek: EastEnders

As Steven and Abi plan Abi’s 21st birthday bash, it doesn’t go unnoticed by Abi there are issues in Steven and Lauren’s relationship.

Elsewhere, Dot gets a chance to do her good Samaritan bit when she’s called on to soothe Will’s fears about his new home.

EastEnders, Thursday at 7.30pm on BBC One. Repeated at 10pm on UKTV channel ‘W’.


Agnes thinks it is time the Moons’ left Redwater. Alfie agrees that Tommy needs to get back to school, he’s also worried about his health. Will he decide the time has now come to finally share his worries with Kathleen and act on them?

Meanwhile Eileen reveals her plans to transform the farm into a cookery school. Roisin is appalled, but Eileen is enjoying being home and Agnes is delighted for her to have a reason to stay. Could Eileen’s decision also be swayed by a romantic interest in an old friend?

Dermott finds himself in a compromising position when paying heavily pregnant Bernie a visit at the police station. Bernie, who should be on maternity leave, is back at work with suspicions surrounding the circumstances of Lance’s death, when events take an unexpected turn for them both.

Redwater, Thursday at 8pm, after EastEnders, on BBC One.


SoapWeek: Emmerdale

During his first date as an escort Finn’s doubts get the better of him and he makes off with the client’s money in a hurry. The client catches up with him at Wylie’s farm and demands the cash back but Finn threatens to out him to his wife. 

An incredulous Ross is on the scene and feels for Finn when he hears what he’s been up to and tells him he’ll sort out their finances. As the brothers leave the property, Ross trips on a cable and makes a discovery… a large-scale cannabis enterprise. Could this be the answer to their problems?

Elsewhere, Jai refuses to pay for a solicitor for Rakesh; Priya is relieved when Rakesh gets bail; Lydia is getting on Laurel’s tits; Belle’s furious with Lachlan; and Faith’s behavior piques Debbie’s curiosity.

Emmerdale, Thursday at 7pm and 8pm on ITV, STV and UTV.


SoapWeek: Hollyoaks

Harry and Tony get word that Ste has been taken to hospital, where it becomes apparent that Ste has borne the brunt of Harry snitching on Woody. Later, Harry is stunned to find a confused Ste in the kitchen at Nightingale’s.

Darcy’s plan is working when Maxine tells Adam that she’s leaving him. Later, Toby reveals to Adam and Jesse he lied about Maxine hurting him, while Darcy is delighted when she finds out that Maxine is going to America.

Elsewhere, Kyle catches Darren getting weed for Grace to sell; Scott is intrigued by Mercedes’ mystery man while Ryan worries that Leah has spotted Mercedes leaving the flat.

Hollyoaks, Thursday at 6.30pm on Channel 4 and a ‘first look’ at 7pm on E4.


Doctors Pick of the Plots logo

Rob is back at work but when Karen calls to suggest they go out for dinner tonight, we get a glimpse of how guilty he really feels about Baby Marnie. Meanwhile Ruhma is secretly planning how to propose to Heston at her birthday lunch tomorrow unaware that he has had the same idea. With Emma and Zara’s help, she eventually decides exactly how to do it. Over at the Mill Heston frets over his proposal and Mrs Tembe’s suggestions don’t help, however he finally decides on a plan of action.

Elsewhere, Valerie turns detective when a patient suspects her partner is cheating but his secret is far more shocking than an affair.

Doctors, Thursday at 1.45pm on BBC One.
