Roy overhears Daniel talking to Sinead and assumes he’s planning a runner. Meanwhile, Peter and Tracy give Adam his marching orders, feeling he is causing Ken nothing but grief. When Adam visits to say his goodbyes, Ken notices he has the trainers his attacker was wearing and asks if they are his. Shaken, Ken calls the police.
Steve tells Michelle that Peter and Toyah are in a position to purchase the pub, meaning she’ll soon have her share. However, Nick overhears and forms a plan to get both Steve and Peter out of his life for good. Peter and Toyah are furious when Steve does an about-turn on the sale while Leanne is tamping fuming raging over Nick’s involvement.
Elsewhere, Brian is torn when Cathy asks him out on a date; Sally begs Gina to come home.

Ted and Joyce prepare for their move to the Square and after saying goodbye to their flat, they arrive in Walford. Things are off to a bad start for Joyce however when she realises Ted has broken a promise for a fresh start and brought a piece of the past with him – but what is he hiding?

Warren goes to visit Katy’s grave as Sienna and Joel find a home video made by Warren revealing he is handing himself in. Sienna finds Warren just as he is about to go to the police station but will she be able to convince him to keep quiet?
Marnie is disgusted when she finds out James is purposely sabotaging Ste’s case. Meanwhile, Ryan sneaks into the McQueens. Mercedes arms herself with an ornament to protect herself against ‘killer’ Ryan but she is unprepared for his response; he wasn’t at The Loft as he was sleeping with someone else when Amy was murdered. Later, Ryan warns Kyle to leave the village.
Elsewhere, Holly kisses Zack and gets the wrong end of the stick when she sees Nick helping Tegan home; Goldie finds out that Shane was responsible for the robbery at school; and Darren invites Kyle to stay with him and Nancy.

Rob takes a call then gets in touch with Karen asking her to meet him at St Phil’s after work regarding an emergency foster placement. Karen arrives, and is mildly frustrated that Rob didn’t mention it was a baby. A second bombshell arrives; the baby is addicted to hard drugs as its mother was an addict. Karen and Rob debate whether to take the baby on.
JJ is pushy for them to go to Spain but Mrs Tembe’s mind is all over the place. At work, Ruhma advises she weigh up the pros and cons without compromising her own happiness. Later, JJ’s attempts to force the issue don’t go down well with Mrs Tembe, sparking an argument. JJ suggests that she visit him at weekends while she contemplates her own future but Mrs Tembe isn’t keen on this idea and ends the relationship.
Elsewhere, Al treats a patient with diabetes, but something isn’t right. Can he work out what it is in time?
