The village is in shock after the sudden death of one of their own.
Eileen (Angeline Ball), is back from the States after an absence of 20 years, with her son Kieran (Ian Toner). While Lance’s older daughter Roisin (Maria Doyle Kennedy) is less than keen to catch up with her estranged sister, Kieran is keen to catch up with his childhood friends Dermott (Oisin Stack) and Andrew (Peter Campion).
Families and friends are reunited after 20 years, but as much as this is a celebration, old tensions rise to the surface. After the funeral, at the reading of the will, another surprise lays in store from beyond the grave.
At the holiday cottage, Alfie (Shane Richie) tries to persuade Kathleen (Jessie Wallace) not to go to the wake. She takes no notice, but will her meddling lead to confirmation that Andrew is her son or will she put her position in the village in jeopardy? Later Kathleen and Alfie get a shock when they track down missing Tommy to a church and are staggered by what he has learnt…

Robert’s anxious as he and Aaron prepare to spend their first night in their new home. He tries to push his guilt aside by getting flirtatious but is unable to cope with his emotions and winds up telling Aaron the truth about Rebecca. How will Aaron react?
Elsewhere, Adam is alarmed by what he finds; Chrissie and Rebecca talk things over; and Sam takes an upset Lydia under his wing and they ask Laurel if she would like to take in Lydia as a lodger. Laurel has reservations but agrees.

Cleo finds out about Joel’s promise to the church and isn’t happy. She lets Warren know about his son’s resumed drug habit sparking a heated confrontation between father and son. Later, Warren tells James he doesn’t want to proceed with the child arrangement order. He plans to hand himself in.
The police find a lifeless Prince at the school. When he comes round, Shane urges him to take the blame for the robbery. Prince is charged with reckless driving, driving without a license and the robbery.
Elsewhere, Ste shares his suspicion with Harry that Ryan killed Amy. Harry does some digging but hits a stumbling block in the form of some missing CCTV footage, which Mercedes finds in Ryan’s coat. Neeta rejects Hunter.

It’s a day of surprises for Mrs Tembe and JJ. She reveals a new hobby, but JJ has bigger news. Excited to share it with her, he takes Mrs Tembe for lunch and then reveals he’s had a bigger and better job offer, abroad! Mrs Tembe assumes that his intentions are to leave her behind but he soon puts her straight, leaving her with a big decision to make.
Elsewhere, Zara takes Emma shoe shopping and tries teaching her to put fashion ahead of comfort; Valerie’s nosey neighbour appears to be sabotaging new neighbours Janet and Tony’s marriage; but what is she really hiding?
