Harry causes a distraction in court during Ste’s sentencing to delay proceedings and orders James to get him some time with Ste. Later, there’s a ripple of shock around the court room when Ste pleads ‘not guilty’. Meanwhile, Mike agrees to let Ryan keep custody of Leah and Lucas.
Nancy is given new hope when she decides she wants stem cell treatment. However, Darren immediately points out the dangers and forbids Nancy from considering it. However, after an emotional plea, Darren agrees to help Nancy get the £40K it will cost for the treatment.

Mrs Tembe briefs Karen and Valerie on her new scheme to help vulnerable patients. They’ll all undergo the training soon with Sid supervising. Ayesha thinks Sid is making a mistake – he should do what he wants to do instead of going along with Mrs Tembe’s plans for him.
Heston is filled with dread when Ruhma reminds him of their plans for tomorrow night. Towards the end of the day, Sid is pleasantly surprised to discover he is off the hook with the VPAS scheme but what changed Mrs Tembe’s mind?
Elsewhere, Megan suspects foul play when she is visited by a regular anxiety patient, but is she focusing on the wrong person?
