A series of events leaves Sally horrified and she fails to turn up for her interview with the journo from the Cheshire Haven. Finding her alone in the factory, Sally breaks down in Tim’s arms, revealing the latest malicious actions of her troll. Tim vows to find the perpetrator and have his revenge and insists she come off social media. How will Sally respond when he suggests she steps down from the council too?
As Toyah and Peter prepare to head to the IVF clinic, they’re interrupted by the police who arrest Peter following an accusation of assault by Chloe. The police tell Peter that the incident supposedly occurred on the night of Ken’s attack and play the message that was on Simon’s phone to him which suggests he’s also the culprit who attacked Ken. Later, Peter reveals to Toyah that Chloe is trying to frame him.
Elsewhere, Maria admits her affair with Aidan to David while Audrey tells a smarting Gail that Maria and David have been winding her up; Bethany apologises to Nathan for overreacting; and aware of Kevin’s financial woes, Freddie announces he’s thinking of retiring.

Carmel attempts to build bridges with Stacey to no avail. After witnessing their fraught conversation, Max takes Carmel for a drink and the pair discuss Carmel’s possible new venture. Max later pays Stacey a visit and encourages her not to hold a grudge against Carmel.
Michelle offers to cover for Tina at the café but when Louise, Madison and Alexandra arrive to stir up trouble, Bex snaps and orders Michelle to go. Outside, Michelle confides in Sharon.
Elsewhere, Whitney and Johnny call on Abi for advice about an out-of-sorts Lady Di; Steven’s unimpressed when Lauren convinces Whitney to go on a night out; and Ben and Jay enjoy the company of their temporary guests.

The mood is solemn following Ashley’s death. The undertakers remove the body. Later, Gabby vents her hurt at Bernice.
Aaron is feeling guilty about not being with Liv but he’s pleased to be reunited with Robert and the pair head out for a picnic which goes well. On their way back to the village, however, they’re distracted by some mind blowing news.
Elsewhere, Victoria feels queasy and hopes she is pregnant; Debbie is jealous of Faith and Sarah’s relationship.

Esther makes Grace promise to give up her dodgy life if they’re going to have a future, and Grace agrees. At the same time Liam goes to the garage to retrieve the gun that Grace used to shoot him to use as evidence. Warren catches him and Liam asks for his help. Warren sends him away, before getting the gun from where it’s hidden in a toolbox.
Grace’s blood boils when she finds out that Liam is still out to get her. She tells him to just kill her if he wants her out of his life, but he can’t. Meanwhile, Esther is terrified when Liam locks her in a container and leaves her there.
Elsewhere, Nancy bumps into her first ever boyfriend, Kyle while attending a MS support group and keeps the encounter from Darren; Scott is devastated when Lynette gives him a letter from his birth mother, which asks him not to find her; and things are awkward between Joel and Cleo when he turns up at the McQueen’s.

Karl winds Sid up at breakfast, before Ayesha tells him that Jimmi has rushed his results through. Jimmi rules out various things, and will refer for an X-Ray. Ayesha gets anxious, they have to know in 10 days to tell the army. Jimmi reveals that depression is a possibility but Ayesha is still pondering on a brain tumour. Later, Jimmi gets annoyed at Al for offering a second opinion, but Al says that he absolutely didn’t while Emma suggests Chronic Fatigue Syndrome.
Daniel won’t forgive Zara for yesterday, and tells her to apologise. Zara fails to, and then sees Daniel watching, shaking his head. She tries to be better around Valerie. That isn’t enough for Daniel though, and he wants her to check in on Al, see how is since his father died, and also on everyone! Later, Zara fights back at Daniel, wondering if he is doing anything useful while she and Emma are at the conference. She persuades him that the ‘boys’ should do something to bond. He insists she speak to Sid.
Elsewhere, Rob has to deal with a family issue that could turn into a drug bust.
