Jim Davidson Reaches 500-Episode Milestone with Ustream series…
Comedian and presenter Jim Davidson has reached a major milestone with his telly show, This Week, where he gives his unique take on the world and current affairs. The star will record his 500th episode of the production on April 1st. The show started on YouTube during Covid, when Jim was unable to perform live stand-up shows due to lockdowns.
He recorded his opinions and views of the world from home and gained an army of online fans. This Week became so popular, Davidson launched his own subscription streaming channel, Ustreme, which has now grown from a website platform to a worldwide channel available on most TV sets across the globe.

He still films the show twice per week from Ustreme’s Southampton studios and gives short episode teasers to fans on YouTube. Jim’s This Week shows have been viewed by more than 50million people since it launched.
“Back when I started filming myself laughing and ranting at the state of the world in my dressing gown from home during Covid, I would never have believed that This Week would have grown into such a phenomenon.
“Millions of people have tuned in to see it, which is mad. The news is always filled with such negative stories these days but I try to tell it like it is and have as much of a laugh as I can while doing it. I think people enjoy listening to a comedian saying things they would love to say while having a bit of a giggle at the same time.
“500 episodes! Who would have thought it? But trust me to end up filming such a milestone show on April Fool’s Day. Typical.”

As well as Jim’s This Week, Ustreme also features exclusive stand-up material from a host of comedy legends, including Jim himself, Jethro, Freddie Starr and Roy Chubby Brown, in-depth interviews with celebrity guests including Frank Bruno MBE, Right Said Fred and SAS hero Mark ‘Billy’ Billingham MBE, panel shows filmed in front of live audiences, news features and light entertainment programmes.
Jim says his Ustreme channel has one aim: to make people laugh like they used to. Jim found fame on television with ATV’s New Faces in the mid-1970s and he went on to huge stage tour success including entertaining British troops abroad. On television he’s been the centre of his own sitcoms as well as host of BBC One’s game shows Big Break and The Generation Game.
