Today’s storylines from the UK and Australian soaps….

Sharon is warmed by a Mother’s Day gesture from Zack and Albie, but her happiness is short lived when Nigel arrives and reveals Phil is missing. At No.55, Denise, Sharon and Nigel call the police, but the situation is quickly diffused when Phil returns and offers a simple explanation.

Realising the mix up is down to Nigel’s dementia, Phil covers but Sharon is unconvinced, and enlists the help of Kathy and Denise to buoy Phil. Touched by her reaction, and encouraged by Denise and Nigel, Phil finally reveals his feelings for Sharon.

Later, Sharon is surprised when her sister Vicki returns to Walford.

Meanwhile, Peter reassures Lauren ahead of their baby scan, but soon his mind drifts to Cindy, who has gone missing from Gita’s place. Peter ends up missing the scan, angering Lauren.

Elsewhere, Avani and Lily meet to smoke weed as they attempt to distract themselves from recent events.

Also, Bianca and Sonia meet a woman, Charlotte, whilst they are having lunch at Beale’s Eels. Bianca agrees to join Charlotte for a drink at Harry’s Barn, unaware that she has a hidden agenda.

At the hospital, Dee-Dee reassures Lauren that Frankie’s stem cell transplant will be a success, but as she does, she’s overcome by pain. Dee-Dee describes her pain to the midwife, who tells her to go home and rest.

Back at the flat Dee-Dee’s waters break. In the maternity unit, Dee-Dee sits wracked in pain whilst Ed tries to find someone. When a passing midwife makes an inappropriate remark, Ed and Alya are shocked.

A doctor takes Dee-Dee’s blood pressure and confirms she’s suffering from pre-eclampsia and the baby needs to come out straight away. Dee-Dee’s terrified. Will her baby be okay and will Frankie come through his transplant?

Meanwhile, still smarting from their row, Daisy tells Daniel that Jenny’s gone too far this time. Christina arrives at The Rovers and Daisy feigns surprise. As Christina makes her presence felt at the Rovers, Daisy tells Jenny that she’s not sure she can ever forgive her for the awful things she said.

Elsewhere, Debbie orders Kevin to get some rest whilst she looks after Alfie, but suddenly the peace is shattered by blaring music from Mick’s house. Ronnie calls to find Alfie alone in the living room. Spotting the back door open, Ronnie heads out. He’s horrified to find Debbie lying in the ginnel, dazed and confused.

Also, Cassie admits to Evelyn that she really likes Steve but he wants nothing more to do with her.

Coronation Street, ITV1, tonight at 8pm or watch on ITVX now

April admits how much she misses Dylan, so Marlon finally admits it was him who framed Dylan for stealing the ketamine. April is shocked.

Eager to fix things, Marlon shows April the letter that proves Dylan still cares about her. Choosing not to engage, April rushes away and Marlon despairs that he’s made things worse.

Meanwhile, Kim deliberately engineers time for Billy and Dawn to be alone together. Dawn feels wretched over Billy’s genuine desire to fix things.

Elsewhere, Nicola is on a campaign to win a prize.

Mali and Abigail try to enjoy life at the caravan park, despite an undercurrent of worry about Nerida and what she might try to do next. Mali reassures Abigail that she’s safe, but moments later, on her way to the shower, she’s met with a syringe-wielding, enraged Nerida. A struggle ensues, and Mali comes to the rescue, but finds Abigail alone. She cries out in warning, but it’s too late. Nerida appears behind Mali and takes a big swing with a beer bottle, clocking him straight over the head.

Kirby is enjoying a night in when Cash arrives, knocking with urgency, anxiously in search of Eden. He can’t find her anywhere, and his last call to her was cut off. He reveals his gravest concern – that Nerida might have decided to follow through on her threats against Eden.

Rose pops in to make sure Tim’s still being guarded by security. He’s eager to leave the hospital, wanting nothing more than to go home. But on attempting to stand, Tim realises perhaps he’s not as fit as he thought. Rose is interrupted by a call from Cash – Eden is missing. Cash and Kirby race around Summer Bay, asking if anyone has seen her. As Cash makes yet another desperate phone call, begging Eden to pick up, he realises he can hear her ringtone. Her phone is lying in the grass, very much unattended…

Mali gives a statement at the police station, his main concern being Abigail, who also disappeared shortly after he was knocked out. He admits he thinks it was Nerida. He thinks she’s taken Abigail. Cash arrives with his newfound bag of evidence – She’s got Eden too.

In an abandoned train shed, Abigail tugs on the cable ties around her wrist – she’s been tethered to a railing. Not far from her, also tied up, Eden regains consciousness. Nerida arrives with another syringe and Abigail attempts charm as a form of negotiation, while Eden takes a more honest and somewhat confrontational angle. But it’s Abigail’s method that proves to be useful, even though she has to throw Eden a few insults to get Nerida on side. Abigail realises that she can use Nerida’s obsession with Tim to her advantage, and slips that he broke up with Eden… Because he’s still in love with Nerida… Nerida takes the bait and Eden catches onto Abigail’s tactics, verifying the story, explaining that’s why Nerida saw her leaving the hospital.

The next morning, Cash leads a police search at Eden’s last known whereabouts while Levi asks around to see if anyone has heard anything.

Tim does what he can to assist the investigation, but ultimately, he was unaware of Nerida’s capabilities until she put him in a coma. While looking into potential hiding places based on his old files, Tim receives a text from Nerida. She wants to meet up. Cash poses the question – how do you feel about being bait?

Home and Away airs 1:45pm on Channel 5, at 6pm on 5STAR with first-look screenings of the following edition at 6:30 pm. The series also streams on 5.

In the aftermath of Sadie destroying her mirror and make up, Wendy realizes how delicate her daughter’s mental state is, and how much help and support she really needs. As Sadie is introduced to the concept of ‘reframing’, Wendy decides to take matters into her own hands by bringing Sadie and Byron back together.

On seeing how much Byron wants to make it up to her, Sadie asks him, Holly and Max to join her in the reframing exercise – visualising the fire, but with an alternate outcome. An outcome where Sadie comes out uninjured and okay. It’s a cathargic experience for Sadie and one that brings her and Byron closer. But when he asks if he can help rebandage her wounds, Sadie turns down the request. Two steps forward, one step back…

Darcy is given a tour of Eirini by Karl and Susan and is as impressed as they said he would be. While he’s there he notices one of Karl’s patients, Vera, having serious stomach pains. Karl, knowing Vera’s history, is confident it’s just indigestion, but Darcy thinks otherwise and makes the call to take Vera to hospital. His hunch was right after it’s discovered that Vera has a swollen appendix.

Karl is shocked that he missed the diagnosis and Darcy delicately wonders if Karl’s medication is hampering his judgement. Karl takes offence, everything he’s doing now is by the book. But later, when Susan also questions his judgement, he can’t help but snap, leaving Susan concerned that something is going on with Karl.

Cara and Remi are out for a walk when they cross with Gino who presumes baby Thomas is their son. When Cara doesn’t correct him – she confirms it – Remi is shocked and disturbed. Later, Remi confronts Cara, reflecting on how possessive Cara is being – acting like Thomas is her son. Cara becomes upset at the accusation, but later confesses she’s not gotten over her hysterectomy (and subsequent end of their baby journey). Remi wants to be there to help her wife, but Cara’s not sure how to get past it.

Amber tells Angus she thinks the time has come to share their good news with the Murdochs. Over a family lunch, Lydia and Alex are thrilled to hear the baby news as is Lenny – much to Amber’s relief. Later, Lenny’s reality warps, believing Alex and Angus are plotting against him. Lenny’s behaviour takes a sinister turn, and he threatens to kill Angus if he ever hears him conspiring against him.

Angus’ unease is noted by Amber and Alex who assume Lenny is just being overly protective. Desperate to keep the peace, Angus brushes off the incident. However, as the voices grow louder in Lenny’s head, it’s clear all is not well.

Elsewhere, while Sam excitedly embraces their wedding plans, Caitlin is disconnected from their impending big day. Distracted by her mixed emotions, Caitlin’s unnerved when Seb turns up at the Tall Ship for his date with Scarlett.

Seb tries to clear the air with Caitlin and is stunned when she confesses she’s struggling to see him move on with someone else. To make matters worse, Caitlin’s shellshocked to discover Seb wants Scarlett to be his plus-one at her wedding to Sam. As Conor and Chloe prepare to move in together, Kelly-Marie casts doubt over their arrangement suggesting it could get complicated.

With Kelly-Marie’s words ringing in his ears, Conor suggests to Chloe that it might be an idea to set some boundaries. Although she downplays their new living arrangements, things get complicated when an act of kindness by Conor leads to an expected kiss.

A shocking turn of events unites a father and son, following the events at the engagement party, Marie ponders what to do.

Ste tells Rex what he heard and not wanting his boyfriend to know he has a target on his back gaslights Ste into believing he was imagining things again. Rex confronts Freddie on the call not realising hes accidentally admitted to helping Grace the night of Abe’s murder.

When Rex tells Grace he wants out and to put Ste first she manipulates him. Dillon finds himself tasked with another job from Rex and Donny’s worries grow when he sees them together. Unable to get Joel to attend a therapy session with him Tommy takes matters into his own hands; Joel discovers a letter on his car along with a damaged wing mirror. With his money left at home, Tommy suggests Joel visits his place.
