Global Academy, a unique media school in Hayes, West London, is celebrating glowing praise from Ofsted following its most recent inspection.

The newly published report highlights Global Academy’s continued success in preparing young people for high-impact careers in media and entertainment, with inspectors awarding Outstanding ratings in Sixth Form Provision, Behaviour and Attitudes, and Personal Development.
The report describes Global Academy as a school that continues to redefine education for 14–19-year-olds by combining academic learning with real-world industry engagement. Inspectors praised the school for delivering “exceptionally high student outcomes, strong vocational qualifications, and industry-led work placements.”
It goes on to say that students benefit from an “ambitious” curriculum that’s tailored to career pathways and progression into further education, training or employment, as well as access to extended work placements, expert staff with industry experience, and a range of specialist pathways including content production, digital media, journalism, music production, esports and business media.
The Academy’s Personal Development programme is described as “exceptional quality” and also received an Outstanding judgement. Students benefit from a “rich and stimulating range of wider opportunities,” including radio broadcasting, podcasting, music production, and leadership roles.
