The four-part psychological thriller is a follow up to the hit 2022 series based on bestselling author Jess Ryder’s book of the same name…
Paramount+ UK has given a glimpse of the new episodes of the hit original drama The Ex-Wife Part 2 in a brand-new trailer. The series airs exclusively on Paramount+ UK & Ireland from 10th April.
The teaser shows Céline Buckens as Tasha hiding out in Cyprus with her daughter following the dramatic car accident at the end of season one. We also see Jack (Tom Mison), released from prison after surviving the crash he caused, searching for Tasha and for redemption from his ex-wife, Jen (Katie McGrath).
The stakes are raised when Jack learns that his daughter is very much alive, and he sets out to track her down. Tasha vows that she ‘will be the one to finish it’ should Jack discover where she has been hiding. Jordan Stephens (Feel Good) is also spotted in the trailer as Tasha’s best friend Sam, who helped to conceal Emily being alive. As a tangled web of lies threatens to unravel, who can each of them really trust, can anyone truly change, and how far will a parent go to protect their child?
The Ex-Wife Part 2 picks up three years after the dramatic conclusion of the first series. Tasha is on the run with her daughter Emily, living off-grid in Cyprus doing cleaning jobs and struggling to survive. In London, Jack’s ex-wife Jen has moved on with her life, is engaged to a new man in Connor but is still hiding the secret of faking Emily’s death. Tasha’s best friend Sam is cut off from her, having failed to make being a family with her and Emily work.
Their lives are turned upside down by Jack’s sudden release from prison. Still believing Emily’s death to be his fault, Jack has survived the car crash and appears to be a changed man, grieving the death of his daughter.
The drama premieres from 10 April 2025 exclusively on Paramount+ UK & Ireland.
