When Abigail catches Nerida sneaking into the hospital ICU to visit Tim, tensions are high as she threatens both Abigail and Eden. Abigail urgently relays news of the encounter to Cash, but he sends her straight back to hospital to keep an eye on Eden – they both know how dangerous Nerida is. Abigail finds Eden glued to Tim’s hospital bedside and urges her to talk to Cash, with hopes of healing their bond and getting her away from danger. Eden finally explains to Abigail that she’s misunderstood why she’s in the hospital in the first case… it’s not so that she can be with Tim, it’s because she still loves Cash and Tim waking up and testifying is the only way he will be acquitted.

Cash meets Nerida and lies that he has evidence from CCTV cameras proving her guilt. He finally has her in a corner, and with this false evidence, Cash makes her promise to stay away from Eden and Tim, and in exchange, he will plead guilty. Nerida accepts the deal, and it seems Cash has sabotaged the case for his acquittal to keep Eden safe.

Harper feels blindsided by Tane’s proposal, and one question looms large – would they even have a future together if it wasn’t for her pregnancy? Dana comes home and can’t hide her shock at the news – she was only just questioning Tane’s commitment to her sister, and now they’re getting married? Harper insists she’s sure, and Tane wouldn’t have asked if he wasn’t either. Now, it’s time for the announcements! Eden remains at Tim’s hospital bedside, waiting for an update. Bree implores her to get some rest, and perhaps lean on Remi for support. Cash, meanwhile, easily forgives Remi when he approaches with an apology – he understands Remi’s actions, and all he asks now is that he keep Eden safe. Eden finally does agree to talk to him, and the old friends manage to repair, though Remi still doesn’t stand down on the fact that Cash has been treating Eden poorly.
