Celebrity Catchphrase gets soapy
Celebrities attempt to ‘say what they see’ on ITV…
Hit game show Celebrity Catchphrase returns to ITV1 and STV for its landmark 10th series on Sunday 23 March – and with legends from three of the UK’s biggest shows taking part in episode one, the new series is set to launch with a bang. Mr Chips would be proud of that one…
EastEnders stalwart Adam Woodyatt will be going head-to-head with his soap rival, Coronation Street’s Jack P. Shepherd, as well as Loose Women and Bad Boyfriends regular, Olivia Attwood, to try to “say what they see” and guess well-known phrases from a series of animated picture puzzles.
Stephen Mulhern, is back to host the series in his own inimitable style, putting the celebrities through their paces as they compete to win money for their chosen charities. Across the 10-episode series, which will air every Sunday at 7pm, Stephen will be joined by an eclectic line-up of stars putting their fingers on the buzzers for the first time.

And for Celebrity Catchphrase fans who are not content with just one weekly dose of their favourite game show, classic episodes are also now airing on ITV1 and STV at 2pm on weekdays (and available on ITVX).
Earlier this month, ITV announced that an 11th series of Celebrity Catchphrase has already been commissioned from production company, STV Studios Entertainment – four decades after the popular format was first greenlit by the broadcaster.
Celebrity Catchphrase series 10 launches on ITV1, ITVX, STV and STV Player at 7pm on Sunday 23 March.
