Pick of the Plots: Monday 10th March

Nicola calls Zack to Harry’s Barn as the pressure of his ultimatum builds. She offers him £10,000, but he turns it down. In a desperate move to escape the mounting pressure, Nicola plans a family trip to Spain, only for Teddy to decline the invitation.

Nicola tells Zack that she’s ready to reveal the truth to Barney and asks him to join her at Harry’s Barn. When Zack arrives, he quickly finds himself in a vulnerable position as he is attacked by Nicola’s heavies.

Meanwhile, Jean is overwhelmed as everything gets on top of her. Harvey offers to help, but Jean rejects his attempts. Later, Harvey heads to the café to confide in Kathy and the pair start to grow closer.

Elsewhere, Kat continues to struggle following Tommy’s outburst, but a comment from Mo gives Kat pause for thought. Alfie convinces Kat to open up to Tommy, and Kat invites Tommy to the café to share her concerns as the pair attempt to put aside their differences.

Later, Kat panics when she returns from work to find Mo has left Tommy alone with the twins, but after seeing her lack of trust in him, Tommy shuts down. Kat apologises to Tommy, and gives him a new games console which he eagerly boots up so he can chat to his new friend.

Also, Bianca worries for Sonia as it becomes clear she is struggling in light of recent events.

When Lisa discovers Betsy’s bed hasn’t been slept in, she’s thrown into panic. As Betsy returns home, hungover, Lisa’s relieved and explains that with Rob on the loose, it’s not safe to go out alone. Betsy’s dismissive and heads back out.

In the precinct, Betsy becomes aware that she’s being followed. She sets off at speed, but the man gives chase and we see that it’s Rob.

Meanwhile, accusations are thrown round in the aftermath of the crash.

Elsewhere, Yasmeen reveals to Alya that she’s sold her half of Speed Daal. As Alya shakes hands with her new business partner, will all run smoothly? Yasmeen and Alya share an emotional farewell.

Also, when Eileen finds Julie in the undertakers discussing funerals with George, she demands she tell her what’s going on. Will Julie reveal that she’s dying?

At the STC, Brody pulls out a joint and offers to share it with Dylan. When the care officer finds Dylan and Brody as high as kites, will they find themselves in trouble?

Rhona discovers some ketamine missing from the drugs cabinet at the vets and she accuses Dylan of stealing it. Dylan denies being responsible and a relieved April believes him.

Later, the ketamine is found in Dylan’s coat pocket and April is crushed by his betrayal. Broken-hearted April is left clinging to Marlon, who later admits to Rhona that he planted the drugs himself.

Meanwhile, Caleb catches Steph rooting through his office for a clue to Anthony’s whereabouts. Steph is convinced that her parents know more than they are letting on.

Elsewhere, Sarah learns that her positive pregnancy test was a false alarm. Given her shortened life expectancy, she is convinced she’s missed out on her only chance of a family.

Also, it’s the day of Suzy’s funeral, After the funeral, Mary overhears Vanessa tell Charity of Mary’s unflinching support through the past few weeks.
