Nicola plays her trump card with Sharon to protect Barney and Teddy from the truth. After a frank conversation, Nicola believes that she’s finally gotten the situation under control.

Later, Nicola and Teddy invite Sharon and Zack to join them for a family meal at Walford East.

Meanwhile, Kat finds it hard to cope with her emotions as Tommy settles back in at home. When Alfie comes in from a kickaround with Tommy sporting an injury, Kat jumps to conclusions.

Later, a row breaks out over the console, and Tommy loses his cool.

Elsewhere, Harvey feels frozen out by the Slaters.

As the villagers prepare for the difficult day ahead, Sarah prepares to take a pregnancy test.

The villagers gather outside the church for Leyla’s funeral. Liam delivers his eulogy and it quickly becomes clear that Leyla wrote it for Jacob, who is overwhelmed with emotion.

Later at The Woolpack, Laurel, Manpreet and Nicola tell Jacob how proud Leyla was of him. As Sarah tries to grab him for a chat, Jacob tells her that he’s all talked out and walks off, leaving Sarah to struggle with the positive pregnancy test alone.

Meanwhile, a haunted Mary comforts Vanessa, who’s in tears. In a flashback to the day of the limo crash, the audience gets a glimpse into why Mary feels such guilt.

Elsewhere, as the guests arrive in the woods for Amy’s funeral, Matty continues to reel over Cain until Victoria reminds him that today is about Amy. Pressing on with the funeral, Matty gives his eulogy to the emotional congregation, as Cain worries about Kyle.

Later, a drunken Matty berates Cain for what he did to Moira.

Also, Manpreet is mortified when Liam picks up her phone by accident, leaving Chas suspicious.
