Zack confronts Nicola at the hospital, pressing her for the truth until she reveals that he is Barney’s biological father. Stunned by the revelation, Zack returns to Walford to drown his sorrows.
Zack’s day goes from bad to worse when he has a disagreement with Whitney over the phone.
Meanwhile, Kojo tries to support Bianca and heads over to Beales Eels to get some food for her. However, when some lads kick off and Kojo gets caught up in it, Peter calls for help, and Bianca has to fight her fears to be there for her friend.
Elsewhere, Kat and Alfie are excited to have Tommy back home, but he quickly asks to go online to chat with his buddy. Kat has to come clean that she got rid of his gaming console, but she promises to make it right by getting him a new one.
Also, Kathy is a rock to Harvey after another row at home.

A flashforward shows David in hospital, where the medics do everything they can to save his life.
In the present, Shona senses David’s worries and assures him that together they will find a way out of their current mess. David masks his turmoil. Nick and Sarah meet with David in the pub and are concerned to see him knocking back vodka at lunchtime.
A hungover Jenny admits to Daisy that she made a fool of herself in front of Kit. Spotting Daniel in the pub, Kit takes him to one side and suggests that he should ask Daisy for proof that the baby is actually his. Jenny squirms.
Daniel confronts Daisy and demands that she swear on the baby’s life that he’s the father. Daisy dashes out of the pub.
As a drunk David stumbles into the road, Shona arrives just in time to see a car hurtling towards David. Suddenly Daisy appears and the car ploughs into both David and Daisy.
Having heard the crash, Nick, Sarah, Daniel, Jenny and Kit fly out of The Rovers to find David and Daisy seriously injured. Shona tends to David but it’s clear he’s bleeding to death as Kit calls an ambulance.
Jenny and Daniel rush to Daisy’s side and beg her to wake up, worried for her baby.

Jacob suffers a panic attack at work.
Later, Sarah arrives to talk to Jacob but he dismisses her, telling her to stay away.
Upset by Jacob’s rejection, Sarah nervously looks at an unopened pregnancy test in her bag.
