Articulate Agency’s young talent continues to make waves in major TV dramas…
Eight-year-old Ralph Falkingham from Leeds, features in Netflix’s hard-hitting new drama, Toxic Town, which streams on 27 February. The drama is based on real events which happened in the town of Corby in the early 1980s.
Ralph features alongside star Jodie Whittaker, in the true story of one of the UK’s most shocking real-life environmental scandals that rocked Northamptonshire forty years ago when following the closure of the steelworks its demolition and subsequent removal of toxic waste was handled so badly by authorities denied any wrongdoing for decades.
Dubbed the ‘British Erin Brockovich,’ a group of mothers whose children developed birth defects, following the toxic dust being spread across the town, led a landmark legal battle around the alleged mismanagement of the waste removal.
Ralph plays Connor at aged 4, the son of star of the show, Jodie Whittaker. The drama also features Claudia Jessie (Bridgerton), Robert Carlyle (The Full Monty) and Rory Kinnear. (The Diplomat).
One of the UK’s leading acting agencies, with a reputation for casting young talent, Articulate also runs acting schools and had over 70 children involved in the production as supporting artists and walk-ons.

Created by BAFTA-winning writer Jack Thorne, Toxic Town is a David and Goliath battle for justice. The series is expected to spark national conversation, much like ITV’s recent legal drama Mr Bates vs The Post Office, which featured 10-year-old Matilda Firth – another rising star from Articulate Agency.
