Rob Ellis to present new show on Radio X 90s…
Radio X 90s, the station dedicated to the biggest anthems of Britpop, today announced that Manchester radio legend Rob Ellis will present a brand new show, each weekday 11am to 2pm. Rob Ellis:
“The 90s is one of the best decades to have lived through, and the biggest reason is – THE MUSIC! The 90s was my era, these are my tunes and radio is my trade. I’m absolutely buzzing, and couldn’t feel more lucky to be part of Radio X 90s. To be broadcasting nationally from Manchester, the seminal home of 90s music, it couldn’t be more perfect. One word for it, MINT!”

Launched in September 2024 as a spin-off station to Radio X, the radio station for rock and alternative music, Radio X 90s, is a station dedicated to 90s anthems from the likes of Oasis, Blur, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Nirvana, Manic Street Preachers, R.E.M., Pulp, Radiohead, Supergrass, Stereophonics and many, many more.
