Pick of the Plots: Monday 10th February

Against his wishes, a concerned Sharon convinces Phil to see the doctor. Phil is irked by her meddling, and once back at home, he verbally lashes out at her, forcing her to leave.

Meanwhile, after clashing with Mo, Sonia finds comfort in the launderette, but her health takes a turn, prompting a visit to the hospital. At the lockup, Reiss is shocked to learn about Sonia’s condition and rushes out.

Later, with Sonia recuperating at home, Reiss makes up an excuse to sneak back to the lockup. After a visit from Yolande, Sonia decides to delete the confession video, but she is stopped in her tracks by a chilling discovery.

Elsewhere, Cindy is pursuing a lead on her attack but her efforts to get into the Beale house are thwarted by Ian, Kathy and Peter. Ian finds an unlikely ally in Priya.

Also, Penny riles at Jack for allowing Chelsea into his home; Teddy makes plans for Billy and Honey’s Sten-do, and Ruby impresses Martin with a thoughtful gesture.

Kevin shows the CCTV footage of the arsonist to Nick and Shona. Shona is horrified, but quickly covers. What has Shona seen?

At the station, Adam puts pressure on Kit to release David, pointing out that they have no evidence to suggest he started the fire. Nick apologises to David for suspecting him of starting the fire.

Kit interviews Leanne and goes over all the evidence which suggests she started the fire. Leanne admits it looks bad, but assures him of her innocence.

Meanwhile, prison guard Mandy collects Rob from his cell, checks he still wants to go ahead with his plan and kisses him passionately. Having taken a call from the hospital, Carla tells Lisa that Rob has had an allergic reaction to some antibiotics and has been rushed to hospital.

When Carla visits Rob in hospital, Mandy tells Carla that the consultant needs a word with her and as she heads off, Mandy uncuffs Rob. Will Mandy and Rob make a run for it?

Elsewhere, Tim, Yasmeen, Dylan, Betsy, Lisa, Liam and Maria watch as Mason’s coffin is loaded into the hearse. Abi heads over to join them but as she glances around, she quickly leaves again. Abi describes her hallucinations to Dr Gaddas.

Also, Daniel calls at Sarah’s flat hoping to persuade Bethany not to leave. Will Daniel be able to talk Bethany round?

Charity spills her knowledge of Joe’s affair with Dawn. Joe is more rattled to learn that Kim has been spying on him, which reveals her mistrust.

Meanwhile, Noah informs Joe that he won’t be taking the Dubai job, but he is spooked by Joe’s overreaction to the news.
