Michael C. Hall reprises his titular role of Dexter Morgan while Uma Thurman will play the series regular role of Charley, the ‘Head of Security’ for mysterious billionaire Leon Prater. A former Special Ops officer, Charley worked various high-level private security jobs before taking on her position as the resourceful and meticulous right-hand woman for Prater.
Production for Dexter: Resurrection kicked off earlier this month in New York and the series is set to launch in summer of 2025 on Paramount+ UK. Alongside Hall and Thurman, the series also stars David Zayas as Detective Angel Batista, James Remar as Dexter’s father Harry Morgan, and Jack Alcott as Dexter’s son Harrison Morgan.
Most recently, Dexter: Original Sin, a prequel series that follows Dexter as he transitions from student to serial killer, debuted in December of last year and delivered the most streamed Showtime premiere in history with more than 2.1M global cross-platform viewers. New episodes are available to watch on Fridays on Paramount+ with Showtime.
Dexter: Original Sin also marked the most social SHOWTIME premiere ever, with 657K interactions.
Clyde Phillips is executive producer for Dexter: Resurrection who worked on the original series and Original Sin, he also returns to serve as showrunner. Michael C. Hall also serves as executive producer along with Scott Reynolds, Tony Hernandez and Lilly Burns.
The award-winning actress Uma Thurman is widely known for her notable roles across film and television titles including Pulp Fiction, Kill Bill, Smash, and Hysterical Blindness. She recently starred in the films Red, White and Royal Blue, Oh Canada and The Kill Room. She’ll next be seen in a starring role in Ballerina Overdrive.
